One of my last times out east I spent about a month and a half in both Boston and also Lowell. Was in Lowell for some training at Alcatel Lucent on their IP based PBX systems (fairly large phone systems). Also spent some time at one of our AT&T offices in Boston. I had to teach a two week course there to other engineers.

On my off time when I was in Lowell I drove up to Nashua and Manchester and went for rides on some of the back roads. I had much fun. Company flew me back home on the weekends.

Oh yeah, also went to Salem to check out all the old historical stuff there. I loved all that. I toured the House of the Seven Gables, the Witch Museum and some other cool places in Salem. Also took in all the old historical places in Boston. Toured Old Ironsides (USS Constitution). Basically I had a blast!
Back roads in Manchester and Nashua? Must have been a long time ago.

Too bad you didn’t make it to the mountains.
I would have gone to the mountains if I'd have stayed the weekends or if the wife could have made the trip with me. She owned an animal grooming business and couldn't make it. Every now and then the company would pay her way to come along on my trips. That was cool for both of us. Even though I was working we still made a fun vacation of it. :)

It hasen’t changed much over the years. It’s protected land.

I just finished my last mix for the day. Did another 30ml variation of my banana cake mix.

I've been messaging with someone at ELR and she suggested I lose the FW White Cake and FLV Pound cake and go with WF Fluffy White Cake and WF Angel Cake instead. Said to go higher on the angel cake and lower on fluffy white. Says it will make for a better cake base along with the bananas, cream and milk. Supposedly angel cake is more of an actual cake versus fluffy white cake.

Different strokes for different folks. Use what you like best.

    Somewhere between here and there
I got a phone call about an hour and a half ago from a customer that I recently did calibrations for. Our salesman was supposed to tell me to get these equipment numbers off of these metal tags on each machine and include them on the calibration certificates. Well, he didn't so I had to drive over there to write all the numbers down and come back to the shop to edit twelve calibration certificates and email them back to the customer. I was pretty mad. I lose money doing stuff like that. Of course, our salesman is on vacation all week otherwise I would have made him go get the numbers for me.

    I would say so.
I decided to try it before I left and was stuck for the weekend. It’s interesting… cheesy, but different from mascarpone or yogurt. Not sure if it’s being mixed with the currant and bilberry, or just how it is

I just mixed mine with .7% rasp. I got yummy. Did not get cheesy.

We had the initial j&J shot back in March. Our boosters have now been put on hold.

My daughter and her boyfriend both tested positive after being vaccinated and never got sick. They had to quarantine though. They would've never known they were were positive if the university wasn't doing random testing. I did visit my daughter while she was quarantined and sat next to her, unmasked and didn't get sick. I'm vaccinated. I was never tested though.
