Same here Fran. It seems us humans are like animals in Spring time. I am a January baby, and all my sisters and brothers are as well.
A couple of the kiddos are close together and can have a party for two. I’m stuck in November all alone except for a Son in law.

Jan and Feb are where the most birthdays are. The remainder are scattered.

    In my immediate family they're spread out . . . 1 in March, 1 in May, 1 in June, 2 July, 1 in September, and 3 in December . . . Just Sayin' . . .

I had a great 3 day weekend. Finished decorating for Christmas and got some cleaning and shopping done. Just doing the last two loads of laundry. I’m thinking about taking another day off soon. Hopefully, next weekend will be the final time mowing for the year. We had frost this morning so I don’t think it will grow much more.

Now that the day is coming to a close I think I’m going to finally mix the gingerbread sammich recipe. I’m feeling all warm and fuzzy and it sounds good. I love that stuff. One of my top recipes. It’s only 4:30…woohoo! I don’t like the time change but I really disliked driving to work at 6:15 a.m. in the dark. It will be daylight now. :)
Won't it be even darker now since you will be leaving at what was 5:15? This time change is confusing and off putting and I hate it. I might be misreading your post, wouldn't be the first time I did that.

It gets dark earlier at night so light earlier in the morning…….I think.

Sunrise yesterday was 7:09. Sunrise today after the time change was 6:10. It’s very confusing to me as well. I normally get up at 5 am. 5 am is now 4 am using the new time so I can sleep another hour. We gain an hour. My cat will not care…sigh. It’s rough on her especially.

I got ya, and yes, the animals hate it. They don't want to wait an extra hour to eat.
