We tried them once. Not really something I’d try again unless someone else cooked them better than I did.
The few people I saw using it in mixes have it paired with bananas. You're right about the potato thing.

Taste? Green plantains taste a little like a potato but are starchier in texture, and can be fried along with a yam or even a sweet potato. When they are green you can do the same with them as you can with a potato in terms of cooking them. As they ripen, they get sweeter.
Plantain refers to a type of banana with a very different flavor profile and culinary application than the sweet, yellow banana with which most people are familiar. Plantains are usually larger and tougher than bananas, with much thicker skin.

Not all that strange. The closer it gets to the holidays, the grumpier she gets. Her and my mother in law are going to visit the youngest daughter tomorrow. They aren’t spending the night but kinda wish they were. I’m pretty good at the silent treatment so I won’t be the one speaking first. I’ve had a little practice over the years.
Enough about that. I want to make a cinnamon cookie but can’t decide to use vanilla cookie or cookie premium.

I did very much. I just went ahead and mixed 2.5% of the vanilla cookie and 1% cinnamon crunch and did the same with cookie premium. I’ll give them at least until the weekend before trying both. Not sure where I’ll go with the recipe after that if I like one of them. Not feeling very creative lately. Maybe move it to a custard cookie? I’m just not sure.
Idk. We ran to costco and it was pretty empty oddly. Made for a nice quick run in and out.
