INW Marula the Next Day and Chapter
Last night I added some Marula to 10mls of ice cream base. Yesterday I mentioned going with 1%. After some thought, I decided to double my SFT percentage of 0.7%. So I added 1.4% Marula to IC base.
This morning before vaping any other flavor I vaped some of my initial Marula SFT. There was about 5mls left. I saved some because I wanted to know if the Marula fades over time. After one month there is no flavor fade.
New RDA + new wick for testing 1.4% Marula ice cream. Fran's IC Base total flavoring is at 8%.
The very same Marula flavor I taste in my SFT is right there along with the IC. It is the same tropical fruit flavor, turned up a notch, as I stated in my Marula SFT notes from a while back. Marula and IC Base are tasty together. I like it.
That tells me INW Marula is a highly concentrated flavor versus the flavors in IC Base (8%).
At 1.4% I do not get any banana taste from Marula at all. None, it's just not there. A nice juicy marula tropical fruit flavor is there.
INW Marula is a shake n vape fruit. As I said, I taste it in the IC the same as I do in my one month old SFT.
Here is what INW Marula is and is not. Marula is a fairly light tasting fruit. It is not a bold in-your-face type of fruit in the way a raspberry, an orange or lemon are. Marula is lighter than most light fruits.
INW Marula is not a flavor I would recommend for most mixers. At this point I might "almost" say it is a tricky flavor to work with.
After I post this I am going to head off to push INW Marula to 2.5% with IC Base.
Be back soon with results...
