Now please don't get me wrong . . . While I agree with you, that those kind of polital views should not posted in this thread, IMHO- I think even though it was deserved - openly calling @Territoo out like that was a ltitle to harsh (as you did with @JCinFLA - who has also left ECF because of what happened - really wish I had spoken up then too).

And I know @Skeebo is a very good friend and I understand very well why you would voice your opinion that @Territoo adhear to @FranC "rules". However, even though @Territoo and I had our moments and definitely do not share the same politics and views in anyway . . . We've even had a few questionable post back and forth. . . . But @Territoo does really contribute to this group in particular and is usually quite pleasant and informative.

Maybe, while you were being very protective (Thanks for including LGBT+), this post to her might have been sent as a PM first, instead of a public post ?

As do I Fran. The neighbors in the homes to the east and west of my home are African American. As are two neighbors right across the street and more down the block each way. All good hard working family people. There is a wonderful gay couple who lives directly across from my home.

Many of us have broken bread and have had many good times together. Real people who truly enjoy each others company.

I live in an area of the City where there all kinds of people. Several different races, sexuality's and religions. We are people who accept each other as they are. And who truly know how to get along and look out for each other.

They are the People I would choose to be in a fox hole with 100% of the time.

I have many close friends of color and close friends in the LGBTQ community. The 'woke' nonsense is racist in nature, created by racists and propagated by racists. There is no place for it in any modern society.

Hey I got you beat - Don't have to have those neighbors, especially since my family is made up of the same people . . . (Stepfather - Black/Blackfoot Indigonous American, so is my little brother, abunch of nices & nephews African-American & Cheeokee Indiginous American & Italian/English/Irish, and then again got a bunch of LGBT+ - besides myself. Talk about being diversified . . . )

BTW: Is there any room in that neighborhood so that I can move in . . .

It's difficult to escape the issues going on in America right now. However, this thread is one place I come to do so, or should I say, not have a continued reminder of those topics.

"The Cowboys were America's team. The was before NFL went woke."

So it's use in today's vernacular is popular among the far right. They despise the whole equal rights movement involving transgenders, pro-choice, BLM, LGBQT, and anyone that supports it, hence their use of "woke". Trust me, they are definitely not rallying in the positive for any of which I mentioned above.

Simple and sweet, I hope I did not disrespect or offend anyone.
