I didn't do much today. I didn't get much sleep last night. I have to start turning my phone off. People calling me at 8:15 in the morning after going to bed at 3am. Nonsense. I have been looking for sales then I check out the vendor and it flops. (In regards to seeds). I managed to start a trade with someone. She has a different variants of micro dwarf tomatoes so I'll trade some of my petunia/painted daisy seeds. Some of these varieties are hard to come by and to buy one package and get charged 8 bucks for shipping is not going to happen. I'm still going to buy a few packs at Baker's Creek in Missouri. They have a great reputation for heirloom stuff.

My brother is moving out of his house and into a B&B his friend has while they sell their home. IDK whats going on there. I know they were struggling but I don't ask questions. If they want me to know they'll tell me. Anyhow, I'm off to gander at baker's creek to order some zuchino rampicante squash.

I'll probably mix next week. I'm not really excited to do it though.

Dd leaves today. I guess I'll put up my tree and nativity set. That's the limit of my decorating. The tree is a pop up so it shouldn't take too long. Then I've got some gifts to wrap.

Morning, mixers, and happy Saturday.

Brief break between storms, and if they got it right, the worst will be north of us. Not good for those areas, same places that flooded earlier this week. At least no significant winds in the coming days, so "only" branches down is the expectation. Although as soggy as the ground is, even moderate winds could be problematic.

Bookstore trip was a success. Only about "normal" busy, my guess that not a lot of people read any more was correct, no mad crush of people And, it not being IN a mall, but a satellite and separate building, sure helped!!

I think it's 6% Banana Nut Bread, 3% Banana Cream, 2% Hazelnut and 1% A.P.
Or at least I think that's what it is....

No, but I've mixed the recipe different than what I've written down. I wrote the recipe for 10ml but mixed 30ml. My scale also kinda messed up during some of the measurements. It's now steeping, so I don't know yet how it will come out.

Something similar. I've mixed something and really liked it, but thought, I can make this better. Then it becomes horrible after many trials and errors and I can't remember what the original mix was.
