Maybe it will settle down a bit after steeping. I admit I did not give my sample 30 days and I probably should have.....my bad.

    :)
Well since I already have it mixed it's no problem to let it sit and steep. If I can taste anything other than cheese at 30 days then I'll let it steep longer.

Spent a few hours finalizing recipes this morning. All new stuff to me. After some sleep I'll be mixing:
    -Strawberry Pink Champagne, chilled
-P, P, and MH (pear pistachio milk and honey)
    -Pistachio Cream (TFA with extras)
    -Butterscotch (FW with extras)
-Pear INW single flavor (this is not a test)
And as many sfts as I have 10ml bottles...
Oh, and Ella's Shortbread Biscuit, a big bottle, and a small tester with Butterscotch FW added.
Still waiting on a few flavors in the mail to make some chocolate mousse and pineapple cream, amongst others.

I have my plan for the Mascarpone. I decided not to mess with the shortbread mixes because it's a new flavor. So I'm going to add 5 drops of Mascarpone to my Strawberry Cream Cookie. I'm was also going to do a tester at 1% but I'm not seeing a big use in doing that.I already know it tastes good. It's more important to see what it tastes like in a mix. So I'm going to pick something to mix with 1% Mascarpone.

I'm very interested in the mascarpone and the brie. I want to try both of those seperately in my pear pistachio mix once I play with it a bit. Honey should also make an apearance there. Haven't bit the bullet on cheese or honey yet. I too like the idea of boosting cheesecake type flavors with cheese, have found many lacking in that area. I'm sure a little goes a long way though.

The Brie is good to me in a mix at .75%-1%. The Mascarpone seems to be much stronger. Or maybe I should just use the same % as I do on the Brie. Gotta think on that a minute. May just add .75% to my mix. IDK. I'll decide at the last minute.
I've been reading the above posts about the mascarpone. I need to read up on the overall profiles of both, but I suppose I won't really know what they are like til I try them :)

    @Sugar_and_Spice

I decided to go with .75 on the Mascarpone simply because that"s my usual on the Brie. I added it to the Strawberry Cream Cookie I mixed yesterday. A cheesecake might be better but didn't have any new mixes handy. It will tell me what I need to know regardless.

I've been vaping Pecan Shortbread this week and I still feel like it needs a little something else but here is the original recipe (that I have actually vaped quite a lot of, as is):

    Pecan Shortbread

    FW Pecan 4%
    INW Shortbread 2%
    INW Vanilla Cream 1%

Since you used WF SC Shortbread I would say to give it two weeks. WF says on their website to steep at least 10 days so I would think 2 weeks should be good.

I'm home and I am waking up slowly which I like. Don't get me wrong, I have more to do than I want to think about.

I brought home my "non work" dirty clothes. They smell AWFUL. I'm really getting concerned about this. The trash bags seem to be working and to be fair my robe has been up there like, a month, unattended.

I think next time after I wash all my work clothes (over thanksgiving) they are going to have to all live in the car. It's too dire. The smell is.... I can't smell like that, I just can't.

I did get a (new) oven and that's great. I guess. I checked my mailbox for my electric bill and like, it was stuffed full of some other resident's bill. Gonna have to call the electric company.

Public housing is cheap, but it may have issues it seems. I have put stuff out but it is no match for the smell. I guess I could ask to move, but I'm starting to wonder if it's rot in the walls. Jesus. It's unpleasant. I could go to the leasing office but just... IDK.

My vote would be for a move as soon as possible.

I KNOW right? If only the husband could be 300 men, etc. I really just want to shove the house on the market now, and like, IDK I guess I could talk to the leasing office or something. If I threaten to rain down the health department or something and if they come and smell the stink, maybe they can move me.

But, I can't break the lease without financial penalty and also, the application fees and first and last month and security deposit, they really GOUGE you. It was a lot. It's a five month lease, and we are definitely going to NOT renew, even if we wind up renting a small house or something for while.

But, I have a feeling for the next 4 more months, I am stuck with the apartment complex for now. I just can't afford more bills. Although if I move later on a more long term basis I might well, IDK.

I could leave the windows open during the day, l guess. That might help. I might get jacked, but I have renters insurance. If I do it during the night, like, I will freeze.

It's pretty frustrating. I have lived some very wack places, but not anywhere ever like THIS. MAN.

I think I am gonna make an appointment with the leasing office over a lunch and "discuss my issues," because I could always sue them in small claims court for "uninhabitable conditions" and whatnot. So I need a trail, etc. If I could get my money back, I could move somewhere else. Oy.
