No white Christmas here, seems it's been delayed by at least a few hours. And we got our short road trip done yesterday, with only sporadic non-freezing rain
They are still talking about the temp dropping (only 34 overnight here at the house), and snow later today. No plans to go any where, so that's ok.

My daughter worked last year in a similar situation, they called it the recovery ward, people who passed out of the ICU but weren't ready to go home. It was pretty primitive back then. They got one mask a week and made gowns out of trash bags, there were no treatment drugs, they didn't even have covid tests. Best of luck.

I've been shopping with my gift cards and I spent $127.50 on Amazon. A couple of shirts, leggings and essential oils.
Just finished bacon and eggs for breakfast. Our daughter has to leave in a little bit to go back and work at the assisted living place she works at tonight.
My bureau is a mess again and so is my bed. I got several assorted cocoas, 2 Movies, 2 books, essential oils, Jammie’s and a couple shirts. Candy and a few other things. I need to find room for some of this stuff.
Well - Good Chrismas Afternoon . . . .
So far - So good . . . Kind of conjoled into going to the Community Christmas Bunch (I usually avoid these get togethers, especially given the usual meaheim.) , which wasn't as bad as I expected. Although it was from 9 AM - 12 NOON, I went at 10:30'ish and sat with a couple of people I know for a quite nice meal - I had Quiche, Sprial cut Ham, Salad, & Fresh Stawberries too (Other foods, including French Toast, Scrambled Eggs, Cakes/Pies/Cookies/Candies were available also, but I did not partake any of them) . . . They even had a drawing - a 50-50 & $20 gift card to the local Publix grocery . . . Of course, wanted to show my community sprit, so I purchase $5 worth of tickets . . . Time was up for me, it was almost 12 Noon, spent almost over an hour there, ate & socialized, and wish everyone a Happy Holiday - had a very decent time, so I was going to leave. . . . But my tablet mates insisted I stay, because just before the brunch ended they would have the drawing . . . Well - I stayed and guess what ? . . .
