The lady came and looked. She called me and said she noticed no odor. My heart kind of sunk at that point. I am afraid I said, "Well perhaps all your apartments smell this way?" She said they were replacing the thermostat because it was "hard to see." I did not find it hard, and I don't like being treated dopy. She said they were cleaning the ducts but ominously, "We can only go back so far." I was like yeah, well DO that. They also shampooed the carpets again. I think some stink is in the padding. It seems kinda better but not fantastic.

If it stays like this (and I will have to see tonight because, IDK. I was in it all night. If it stays like this, I will live. If it gets worse, lDK. I'm gonna get the husband up here next week and see what he thinks.

I'm still not convinced it is totally fixed, but perhaps better. Again, not sure. I hope I can just deal, I guess I'm gonna see.

I hope it's acceptable but if not you need to exercise your renters rights.

Oh I will. But at that point I am gonna let the husband take over. He knows all the codes and crud, from being an engineer/architect for so long and like all the scary buzzwords that get an apartment shut down etc.

So, I am just gonna see. I'm not going to get trodden on, like I said this was step one and somewhat better than "nothing." So, I'll just see if it stays this way.

I don't want mold either, but "health department coming with mold detectors is something that NO Public Federally funded housing unit really wants to hear. I hate mold, my son had BAD asthma and his school had it at one point. We had to move him and it was a giant PITA. LOL. Much as this may turn out, but I'm trying to remain optimistic. LOL. At least my "home" is now super organized. And now, YOGA.

Yesterday work was really fun. I am starting to have a good, non panic stricken time. LOL.

    Somewhere between here and there
Good morning, folks:) Hubs had his cat scan yesterday and I'm attempting to stay busy so I don't stress over possible results so much. We are in the middle of a snow storm with 3-5 on the ground and other 3-5 to fall today. I need to clean off a 10' section of deck and the front steps. That isn't my idea of fun but it will sure keep me busy for awhile. Staying busy inside is more to my liking. I'm still liking my Strawberry Croissant and may try my Green Mousse today.Or my Chocolate Cereal.

Good luck Fran. I hope his results are good.

I'm hoping so Hitt:) He's having an awful lot of stomach pain. It's been an ongoing thing since he was in chemo but it's been getting worse lately.

I wonder, if that has anything to do with the fact that they use glass, and not plastic bottles?

They used to use all glass vials and/or bottles with screw on caps, but not any more. They've been switching to bottles that make the "by weight mixers" happier. In my last 3 orders...I've received several rebottled 30mL WF flavorings in the squatty fat unicorn bottles and 10mL CAP flavorings in the PET regular dropper top bottles. I really don't like either kind at all. OSDIY has started using them, too, for many flavorings. Kimberly said it was because of requests and complaints from the by weight people, about the bottles without dropper tops.

That's not to say, other company's just don't want to fuss with volume cut-offs (e.g. "30mL is okay; while 4oz. is not"), and just make a blanket statement they won't air-ship any sizes.:)

That was exactly my thinking on it. :thumb:

I normally use ecigexpress to purchase my diy tastes - something is WRONG with their order form! I give up (after 8 tries lol) - anyone got a better shop for a bunch of tastes different brands?

My first choice is always OneStopDIYShop because I love their own One Stop Flavors and One Stop Blends. They also carry the flavorings from many other manufacturers, too, though. They also have an on-going coupon code for at least 11% off for ECF members. The code is ECF.

My 2nd choice is always Wizard Labs. They carry flavorings from many manufacturers and in 4 different sizes for some of them.

No matter who you decide to order from, you may want to wait for their Black Friday and/or Thanksgiving sales though. Most times the discounts then can really add up to be a nice amount saved.

I like ecigexpress as they carry some flavors that BCF doesn't. They are having a 30% off Thanksgiving Sale that started early. You might try them again. Their servers were probably overloaded with folks getting in those 30% off orders (excludes CAP.)

I love OSDIY too. I wish they carried everything I use and I would never order from anyone else. I LOVE the 60ml bottles I got from them on their Halloween sale and might pick up some more of those if they still have any. They really are the nicest people in the business!
