Just stopping by to say hello. I can't get into mixing because I'm going though a no taste/no smell period. I'm getting another booster in Feb so I hope to get my taste back then. Sorry I cannot share any enthusiasm towards mixing flavors. Off to work today. Have a great day everyone!

My brother in law just got Covid. He's a video guy with a local news station and they sent him to a large event where masks were optional, which being Indiana meant not many people were wearing them. He had all the shots and he is resting at home and OK so far. But he has severe Crohn's. Apparently that's a major risk factor with Covid so they have put him on the list for an infusion. Only one of the infusions works for omicron and there's a long waiting list.

And yesterday I heard a woman on my block caught it. I only met her a couple of times but her husband is a friend. She has advanced diabetes, lost most of her toes and can barely walk. Hasn't left the house for 2 years. So far they are trying to keep her at home. They send a nurse round every day. They are desperate to keep people out of hospital, pretty much unless you will die without it. Non-emergency surgery has been cancelled and the Guard has been helping out for months. We have one of the lowest vacc rates and the hospital system is close to collapse.

Apart from that I know several people who have been hit. All minor symptoms. But if you are old or sick it's not good news.

Sorry to hear this. Where I live most of the people are not wearing masks. Hospitals are full and ERs are sending people home sick unless they need life saving care. A friend of mine said her patient (she does home care) I sent home 6 hours after a heart attack. They told her they do not have room for her and to rehab at home. Yikes!

Yesterday I mixed a batch of base. I do four 200ml bottles at a time. I keep a record of everything I mix including base. That means over a longish time frame I can see how much I'm vaping per day and I did the calculations yesterday. During the last year I've gone from about 8mls of base a day to 4mls. I had no idea.

A year ago my wife cut out the nic. She had a cough that wouldn't go away and she suspected flavoring was the problem. Unflavored didn't help so she figured it must be the nic. Didn't make sense to me but her cough went away immediately. Now she vapes straight VG/PG and her consumption has gone through the roof. I got her on full size Lemos and still have to fill them at least once a day. She chain vapes and burns wicks out really fast so I have to rebuild them constantly. Keeps her happy though, and that's what I'm here for.
