I don’t know what mod you’re using but make sure the tcr is correct and maybe try dialing back the max watts. Some mods give a quick inrush of power before leveling out.

Yeah. It's starting to come back now. Sometimes there is a separate startup setting to heat the coil up quickly. I think I downloaded some software for the Pico so you can set it all up on the PC. I also remember the TCR settings on some mods were not the best. I need to do some research and find out the best setting for 316.

Where did you put the watt?
Eleaf in TC sets the watt to max as standard, ie, 75w.
Either there are two, or three, or four clicks to get in adjustment for the watt, it's been so long since I used a pico that I barely remember it.
Tested, 4 clicks to get for watt adjustment

Well there's part of my problem I guess. The wattage was set to 75. So maybe it fired up at 75 before dropping back to whatever it calculated. I need to do some reading and research and try it again. Now I think about it I do remember what happened. First few times I tried TC years ago I burned the wick and snapped the coil instantly from the initial burst of 75W.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

That would have been Arctic Fox/NFE Tools. I have it on all my compatible mods. Not for the TC but for some of the other features like preheat and having profiles for different attys.

I may be trying TC with SS myself some point soon.

I’m about 45 minutes from bed. I just watched the new episode of The Rookie that I recorded on dvr. Soon my Google fiber tv is ending. My wife wants regular channels so I think I’ll go with YouTube tv. It has local channels. She wants to be able to turn on the tv and watch like normal without having to look for streaming stuff. The more I stream, the less I care about regular channels.
I haven't had regular channels since 2010. Don't miss 'em a bit.
