There is no grocery pickup anywhere near where we are in North Dakota. None near us back home in the Wisconsin north woods. When I'm at my other home down in the city, Milwaukee, there are many options for grocery pickup. I never use any of those services. My trips to the grocery stores are always early in the mornings when myself and maybe one or two other customers are there. Works for me.

I just let my wife do 99% of the shopping. There are more stores than you'd ever want to go to around us within a 10-15 minute drive. There's one that's about 2 minutes from our house that I like. We've never done the online grocery shopping thing. She usually goes to 3-4 stores to get all of the groceries depending on who's having sales.

I live in a small town with a IGA grocery store that's too expensive and limited for routine shopping, but I use it to pick up items I need in the interim. I shop once a month at the Wally world in the slightly larger town 15 miles away. I just started doing the online shopping and curbside delivery. I don't mind actually shopping, but I hate check out, especially self check out and that is all there is anymore.

I hate when people get right behind you.

My deceased wife totally hated grocery shopping. I enjoyed the grocery shopping (still do) and did it all. She would give me a list and off I went.

Oh, there's one or two cashiers, but the lines for them are long and the people in those lines always have full carts.

They do a good job here and if there is any problem, you just start a return online and they give you credit back to your account.
