A very special member is sending me some Dinner Lady. I've been lazy on my mixes and have waiting for an excuse to try some new flavors. We're talking about blackkberry, apple and mango.

Trying new flavors is good for the most part.

We need a break. I think our next destination is Savannah. Nah. What you say?

Savannah is lovely. Lots of good restaurants and stuff to do. Charleston is a good vacay spot too, especially if you stay out on the island/beach.

It is. Less people, more room to have long, quiet beach walks. Downtown restaurants and the street market are all concentrated in a central walkable area. Lots of good food, history, scenery.

From there across the Panhandle is so overgrown with developments now though. I miss the way it was 50 years ago. If I want crowds I’ll go to a metropolis where I expect them. Tampa still has some lovely areas.

Just read there's another snowstorm coming in next week. Supposed to start in Texas and move north east until it hits the Atlantic. Looks like it will go through central Indiana and we could get 18 to 24 inches in 24 hours starting Wed evening. Lot of freezing rain to the south and east of us. My plan is to stock up on food and kerosene and wait for it to melt. Got to feel sorry for the folks on the NE coast, they have been hit bad lately.
