Have you mixed the Pink Kiwi yet? I am vaping it now but for my tastes I am either going to lower the Pink Guava % or increase the Dragon Fruit. It is not a bad mix but once in a while I get an odd bitter taste. It is not a heavy mix either and I can't help but think it needs something else.....suggestions?

:)
As a matter of fact, I have vaped 5 or 6 tanks of it so far (mixed per original recipe; in the tank as I type). :D

I agree that the Pink Guava does seem to be center stage... at least fighting for center stage with the Kiwi. I get a citrus bite/twang(?) of "grapefruit" that many mention tasting in the Pink Guava.

I am finding I kind of like this one. It is (as you say) a rather light vape. It is not at all "in your face." The Pink Guave, and Kiwi, seem to take turns with my palate. I can't say that I really perceive the Dragon Fruit. But, in fairness, I would have have to mix this same recipe, without the DF, to understand what its contribution might be.

I could see, either a slight reduction of the P.G. and/or a slight increase of the Kiwi, in order to bolster the Kiwi's dominese

As for additions; I'm not sure. I like it as it is. I tend to steer away from complex recipes because I often miss what is supposed to be there. I suppose it is just too many decades of taste bud abuse.:(

I do think it could be an interesting base for a light (gin or vodka) cocktail vape. I also think it could support the addition of a fresh herb... like mint, or basil. A coolant (WS-23, Koolada, or menthol) seems like a natural addition as well. Creams are okay; but I find I am growing bored with them. A cookie, or biscuit could work too. I could even see it combined with a mild tobacco; for those who like a fruity tobacco.:)

For the sake of others who might be reading this; the recipe Sugar and I are discussing is this:

And that is certainly fair.:) I happen to mix on the breakfast bar, and just set my laptop up on one corner. its footprint is smaller than a 3-ring binder.

My biggest problem with paper (hard copies) is I am always changing things. Batch size, nic level, PG/VG ratio, and "a little more of this; and a little less of that" kinda thing. I would have so many scribbles on a sheet, or multiple copies of the same recipe, that it isn't funny.

Using the software, I can instantly re-figure quantities, note changes and results, and always return to square one. Also, instead of having to create multiple sheets (for new recipes, and new ingredients) it is all integrated. So, when I add a new recipe that contains one or more be ingredients; the ingredients are created as part of the process of recipe creation. Click on "add to shopping cart" and that is done too.

However, it is just the system that works best for me.:D
I wish I could be so organized. I mix on the kitchen counter and my computer is close but still it's not in front of me. No big 3 ring binder for me. I got a 6 3/4 by 3 3/4 6-ring binder.:)

    @FranC

I also saw a possible cookie recipe that uses Orange and cranberry --something like 4% orange or a mix of two together along with 2% cranberry.

Just spending time looking at flavor pairings and getting some good ideas.

    :)
    What's the recipe?

I bit the bullet and tried the Rhubarb Cornbread (been putting in off). It's surprised me by being pretty tasty. I don't think I'm going to run out and buy more OOO Cornbread but I can easily use up what I have. I guess it could be a possible reorder at some point.

TY for sharing that. I love pink guava. It reminds me of a red grapefruit juice I used to buy only on occasion as it was quite pricey, but I loved it. I’ll mix this when I get home, and make a tester of v1 black and blue martini. I’ve been deep in custards and cheesecakes. My variety is sadly lacking I discovered when I packed juice to bring with me

Did you post the pecan chocolate chunks recipe?
    No,it's a new one.

    Chocolate Pecan Chunks
    FW Butter Pecan 2%
    WF Chocolate Chunks 2.5%
    WF mascarpone .75%

The Butter Pecan tastes better to me in this mix.
