Agreed. There are so many in this thread who have problems with SM that this is how they treat their customers.
SM should have been placed in the Hall of Shame category.
Yup, but I took the cheap shipping as I had too many new attys to play with. You will get yours way before me, dhl is superb.Agreed.
Speaking of shipping, did you receive your Despot RDA from Van & Del yet?
I spoke with Vanja the other day, he let me know mine was shipped via DHL. It's supposed to be here Monday. However, it is at DHL's facility in Chicago already so maybe it will show up on Friday.
Good to see youI just got my order from Sourcemore on Monday. I placed it on January 28th.
My issue was different. They shipped it quickly but US Customs sent it back 3 different times, and each time it went back it then had to clear customs in Singapore.
This one package has traveled close to 60,000 miles... at a shipping cost of only $17. Try to beat that....![]()
I prefer DHL, FedEx and UPS. They always get items to me in 3 business days. Doesn't matter where in the World something is coming from either.Yup, but I took the cheap shipping as I had too many new attys to play with. You will get yours way before me, dhl is superb.

Does your box have a cover?Yes. They're still sitting there. Don't think I will have my neighbor ship those. Would be a PITA for her to wrap all the bottles in bubble wrap. They will be very well steeped. LOLz.
Which waffle?SSA Flakey Pastry is on the way from Nom Nomz with a few others. Looking forward to trying that and SSA Waffle with Butter.
I have FA Maple Syrup, so that and a cream will be used for testing the Waffle.![]()
Nevermind.Which waffle?
No. My mixes are sitting in a square Rubbermaid container. It's ok, I'll be back in the city in June and will get them then.Does your box have a cover?
The new SSA Waffle and Butter. Nom Nomz has it.Which waffle?
Yeah, if you don’t forget them againNo. My mixes are sitting in a square Rubbermaid container. It's ok, I'll be back in the city in June and will get them then.
I have that waffle and the flakey pastry . On a whim I got WF Buttercream frosting. Hoping it isn’t deathly sweet. The new SSA Waffle and Butter. Nom Nomz has it.
They had a 20% off sale on everything this last Sunday for the bunny holiday.
I plan to mix mine with fresh cream and a fruit. Going light with the cream and fruit so I can get a better taste of the pastry.I will likely mix SSA Flakey Pastry with one or more of the following: guava, or grapefruit, or papaya, or orange(s) + mango, or banana + coconut, or apple + pear. Add a vanilla and a cream, and done.
To each their own.Vaped the rest of my 10ml CAP Shortbread mix. I do not like it, it's ummm, not for me. It's in a box with other flavors for my younger brother (not named Mikey).
WF SC Butter Cream Frosting is good. IMO, I don't think it's deathly sweet but it is a frosting so, yeah.On a whim I got WF Buttercream frosting. Hoping it isn’t deathly sweet.
So for all the aggravation they have given you, they offer 300 points=$3.00.It's basically the same answer I get. It's like a broken record.
I have exploded a few times with them. That's how I got them to finally reship my order that I still haven't received. I got a response from them last night saying they'd credit my account 300 points and promised that the shipment would move tomorrow. I'm not going to hold my breath.
I'll be doing the same.Going light with the cream and fruit so I can get a better taste of the pastry.
One frosting is good for me. Have no use for a second or more.WF SC Butter Cream Frosting is good. IMO, I don't think it's deathly sweet but it is a frosting so, yeah.
WF claims it's a SC. It is not a super concentrate and will get lost in a mix if used low. Other known strong flavors will totally drown it out (as I learned). In my notes I wrote; 2% - 3% if used as a background flavor and 3% - 4% for more of the frosting notes. IMO, it could be pushed further.
2% - 3% with known "light" fruits will make it more prominent.
FWIW, I used it at 2% in one of my cake mixes, it was good but felt it needed help. I added some VTA Vanilla Buttercream Frosting to help boost WF Butter Cream. That combo worked well.
I can also see using it with any of the following; FLV Frosting (a favorite), SSA Butter Cream or LOR Cream Cheese Icing.
