@Chiisaiinu, I pour my nic base into bottles from a 240ml LDPE bottle with a twist cap. You might want to consider getting some 120ml or 240ml LDPE bottles and a few twist caps for those. They help to make mixing more efficient.

I mix by weight. https://www.reddit.com/r/DIY_eJuice/comments/2iq3km/botboy141_guide_to_mixing_by_weight/

For a scale I use the American Weigh Scales SC-501. https://www.amazon.com/American-Weigh-Scales-LB-501-Digital/dp/B005UGBG20/
81Yq5Lx2+TL._AC_SL1500_.jpg
There are many decent scales available. The most important thing to know when buying a scale for DIY is getting one that can weigh down to 0.01g.

For mixing I use the Badger Air-Brush Co. 121 Paint Mixer. https://www.amazon.com/Badger-Air-Brush-Co-121-Paint/dp/B000BROV02
$10.99 Amazon.com- Badger Air-Brush Co. 121 Paint Mixer.jpg
I use it for 1-2 minutes then cap the mix and put it away to steep.

I'm not familiar with the magnetic mixer you have. If it is anything like the mixer I use then up to two minutes should work fine. If after 1-2 minutes your mix is getting cloudy, you're 100% set. The cloudiness will clear up after 10-15 minutes.

Yeah I was wondering about that. Might be prudent to find new containers(small brown glass?) to put them in and just relabel them. Popping the tips off every time(drawing with a syringe) seems wasteful(spills) and in-efficient
Each time you open one of your gallon jugs you are exposing your nicotine to air. Repeated exposure to air is no good. Especially so for a gallon jug of nic base.

Re-bottling you nic into 120ml or 240ml brown glass bottles would be best. And then storing all but the one you are using in a freezer.

I keep one 120ml bottle of nic in my refrigerator for mixing. The rest is in my freezer.

For reference. You just put whatever container on the top. drop in a food safe mixing "bar" and a magnet under the plate mixes the solution with no contact, and no concern for sparks or shocks. I did see the mix get cloudy after about a minute so I stopped, just as you said it cleared up. Glad I didn't do any thing wrong YET. lol

Close it up with some super glue. I keep some on my desk at work for cuts.
I've used super glue on cuts and it works great. I have also stitched myself up before with sewing thread. Done the same on dogs and horses too.

Also with so much trial and error, was wondering if I should get like 50ish 10ml bottles for sampling of different blends. Considering 1-2 day steep time I could easily see making 10+ recipes before you get to really try the first. Is this a good idea or do I have DIY fever and need to pump the breaks a bit?

Aye, i have a a few nurse friends that swear by super glue or ducting tape for anything that doesn't need stitches. Even these "liquid bandages" I suspect aren't very chemically different then super glue.

Your Intellab magnetic stirrer has a ton of good reviews.

At some point I might pick one up.

Dermabond is just super glue that has FDA clearance.

I have a bunch of 15ml dropper bottles for test mixes. Bought them from Discount Vials. They ship quick and have reasonable prices. I buy my 30ml bottles from them too. I would think 25 15ml and 25 30ml bottles would be sufficient to start.

1/2 Ounce Clear Boston Round Bottles w/ Dropper

You could also get bottles from there for your nic base.

I hope you intend to steep more than a day or two.

    Somewhere between here and there
Hmm might have to buy more containers then. Also couldn't get a syringe into the flavoring(gorilla style applicator tips) bottles and popping the tops can be messy.

I mix by weight so don’t use any syringes any more.

Again this is where I get 100 different answers. The most common I have heard is 48hrs. What do you recommend?
You no doubt won’t like my answer. I steep everything for a month. Minimum of 3 weeks.

Early on I got gung ho and did a bunch of large mixes of different recipes and found that I never went back and used them up so I’d recommend starting out with small batches

Curious why glass for such small bottles that likely will be empty in a short span? I was actually looking at like 100 10ml plastic eye drip style bottles.

oh 100% I was thinking 10ml for a test batch. This is small enough that I can scale a recipe down to nice numbers, and not so much that if it's ungodly I will hesitate to dump.
