Good morning random folks :) Have you any plans today?

Four more plastic containers arrived from Amazon for my organization plan. I started by separating hardware by type not vendor ie RTAs, RDAs, stabwood, high end box mods, etc….

Then I was buying so much during the flash sales 2 holidays ago and had broken my hip. Everything after my initial organizing went to hell. Stuff in boxes and all over the place. I don’t even know what I have but I keep buying stuff I already have and some two or more of lol! This will make it easier for me and hopefully stop my repeat purchases. Of course, I buy double triple etc of hardware I really really like.

Was going to start today but I’m just not feeling it. This weather is wreaking havoc on my fibro pain so I’m in bed watching movies.

Can’t wait to get going again. I totally hate chaos or anything not in their “right” places.

im going to separate out the true stash items - ones I would pif, sell or have for emergency case down the line.

That way it will be more manageable when I’m looking for something specific.

THATS EXACTLY how I labeled my flavor cases. I have for four full ones. So easy to find the flavor I need.

Yes, it does make it easy :)

I do use a spreadsheet for my flavors, and the location is noted there, as well as on the bottle itself. Makes it simple to note on the printed recipe. And new flavors get the next number in line. No, not sorted by type of flavor, maker or anything other than the order of purchase. But when I do print hard copy, I alphabetize that by flavor name, so still pretty easy to find. :)

Hope you get to feeling better. My wife has fibromyalgia too so I understand a little.

I got motivated a few weeks ago and organized some of my hardware. I’ve still got some in cardboard boxes but have decided that the next time I get motivated that I’m going to get rid of some stuff. I know there’s some I’ll never use but don’t know if anyone else would want it either.

I used to be, until it got to the point that I spent more time looking at every bottle to find the right ones than it took to mix. :)

That’s what got me to organize my flavors. It took me so long to find stuff that I hated mixing. Now I can grab my master list and put a recipe together in a few minutes.

There’s always someone that would want it.

I actually got in a pretty good workout tonight. That’s one. Now if I can just repeat a couple more times this week.

Anyone have any luck with bakewell? I got it on my nomnomz order. I did a quick mix tonight with some Inw raspberry that I know I like.

I’ve got all mine in alphabetical order but adding new flavors can mess it up. But so far it’s worked out. I purposely left random cubes empty knowing that I’ll be adding more flavor bottles.

I stuck mine in my divider so it got a month. I’m sure it didn’t need it.

I’ll give it at least a week. I don’t have a shortage of new stuff to try. I mixed some that you posted a while back.

Will you post some stuff on the classifieds or is it not worth the aggravation?

Im going to put a few of my stabwood mods and some higher end mods for sale in the next few weeks. Make space and money for more mods lol! I may not be able to sell them quickly but that’s fine for me. No rush.

My master list is in alphabetical order but the bottles aren’t in order in the cases. I find the flavor on my list and grab the correct case, side, and slot number according to my list. Makes it easier to add new stuff. Just type it on my list in Word and sort alphabetically and print. I usually wait until I have at least a few new orders before printing.

I would like to group some items together instead of shipping twenty different packages. I’d love to have a stabwood mod but just can’t bring myself to spend that much.

WOW! Well you’re MUCH MORE organized than me! I’ll stick to my analog system for now lol! I wouldn’t even know where to begin with all that!

It’s easy. Just make a table with the right number of columns and start typing. My headers are flavor name, manufacturer, case number, side A or B, and slot number. Initially it took a while typing up a few hundred flavors but glad I didn’t wait until I have as many as I do now. It’s much easier to add 20 or so at a time.

The funny thing is that I’m not an organizer at all but knew if I didn’t organize my flavors and make it easy then I wouldn’t want to mix.
