Morning, mixers, and happy hump day.

Tomorrows rain, stolen from the weekend, showed up overnight. Why we call them "weather guessers" around here :)

I'll go months on a coil, as well, just dry burn and rewick. Haven't ever noticed any flavor carry through.

@hittman Will you try another 2 flavor mix tonight?
    .

Maybe. I'll have to either get out another rda or clean out a tank. I'm past the point of no return with too many mods going.

When I first dripped it I got a nice sour lemon with the pastry but the more I used it the more the pastry took over. I went back and added more lemon for now. Next time I’ll adjust both percentages.

They say lemon flavors fade a lot. I downloaded a list of lemon flavors with detailed notes from here once and many of them were flagged for fading. FE and INW were recommended as not fading. I tried a few lemon mixes but the ones I liked the best faded pretty fast.

I'm sure this has happened to other DIY'rs.

You mix up a juice and it's good. In fact, it's terrific.

But you see the commercial juice you're basing your DIY on is on sale. You used to use the commercial juice, but it kind of fell off the rotation.

However, it's a good price, so on a lark you order the commercial juice.

You fill up a tank with the commercial juice. You take 5-10 puffs to get things rolling.

    WHOA!!!

No if's, and's or but's about it. The DIY is better.

I can't be the only one this has happened to. Funny how the commerical juice tasted better in my memories. ;)

I've used the FE lemon a lot. This one was new to me and had only steeped maybe a week. It is SSA Lemon sour. I don't think it was a problem with the lemon but instead I think I used too much Flakey pastry. It was just odd how the first couple puffs were really good sour lemon then the pastry overtook it shortly after that.

Nope, not me. Got into DIY early but never tried to mix a vendor juice.

The company I bought my menthol tobacco from years ago went out of business and that was the sole reason I started mixing. I went through many bad batches before I found something acceptable. I also got feedback from a friend that was buying the same one I was and although it wasn't an exact match it was close enough. That was several years ago and I still use that menthol tobacco as my first vape of the day.
