I haven't mixed any new stuff lately. Just regular ADVs. Once I'm back in the city I'll get some new ideas made. I have a new case that I put a bunch of flavors in for that. That way I don't have to haul everything. Have nic, vg and pg down there.

Only thing I've done with a few new mixes is tweaking them. Adding more of this or that. Jury is still out on those.
What about all the steeped mixes you brought back ?

Got my favorite old truck back from the shop last week. Been neglecting it for a while and it needed tires and a lot of other work. It's a 98 S10.

I got it when it was 10 years old. The owner raced motorbikes and he only used it to run bikes down to the track once a week, the rest of the time he kept it in his mother's garage. It only had 24K miles on it and it looked like it just came out of the showroom. Still only has 84K miles. I kept it waxed up good and there's not a spot of rust anywhere. Big 4.3 engine that's as good as new.

Spent the last week cleaning it up inside and out. I had to wash it 3 times to get all the dirt and tree sap off. It's too hot to wax right now so I'm hoping for cool day. Or I could get up before sunrise and do it. I asked the shop to reattach the rearview mirror but they said the glue won't set with the heat and humidity.

I've been driving an equally ancient Prizm that came from my MIL. It's on its last legs so I'll donate it to a charity, then pick up another beater car for daily use. My wife has a new SUV but I like old rides for some reason.

Anyway, that has kept me busy. Checked my file this morning and every tank needs a new coil or wick and I need to mix some juice as well. Hoping to get to it today, it's too hot to go outside anyway. We are due for two weeks of 90+ degrees and no rain. At least the grass won't be growing.

I mixed up a couple of strawberry cream/milk testers last night and this morning. The first one is a slight alteration of a recipe from ELR and the other one I just cobbled together. (hmm, strawberry cobbler?)

This brings me up to nine mixes steeping. (haha, now I have "The Twelve Days of Vapemas" in my head!)

    Good morning :)

I'm back in the city, decided to leave in the very wee hours of the morning. First thing, cleaned all the house windows. 7:00am, grass cutting, front and back, edging, yanked some weeds. Trimmed some dead branches off a couple trees. Early bird gets the worm!

85° here with a pleasant breeze. Sunny. Happy I got the outside work done early, it will be in the mid to upper 90s today and Tuesday. AC is on!!! House is nice and cool.

While we were outside I kept hosing Carli dog and myself down to keep us cool. Felt good to get drenched head to toe in refreshing cold water.

I was very happy to see my wife's cute little yellow buttercups in full bloom. Those are pretty cool, they close up at night and then open in the sun, so kewl. I like sitting in the grass and watching them open, it's like "hello world, we're here", they're happy little buggers.

There are some other pretty flowers, I have no clue what they are. She always used to tell me all the names, I always forgot. Lol. S'pose I should learn. Also have some daisies, I call those the happiest flowers in the world. And like, they are!

Was also happy to see my little chipmunk buddy. Was feeding it some raisins. It gets pretty close to me, within a foot. It's more trusting this year than last, cool. Luv my critters!

    Better mix three more.

I had to rewick Cloudy last night as he started weeping again. Thought he was okay but after filling up got some juice in the airflows.

I went back to a pretty tight wick through the coil again (cotton) as that seems to be working better for me with this tank using big ID coils. I had read that you shouldn't wick cotton too tight but it seems with my coils over 4mm that I need all that I can stuff in there or I start touching on dry hits without pushing the power hard at all. Wicking ports are not stuffed tight.
    Still figuring it all out.

    Somewhere between here and there
Good morning. Work is slow again and I hate it when it's like that. I'm going to try to catch up on a couple things I've been putting off. I kind of wish now that I had taken a vacation day today. I'm a long way from retirement but sometimes wish I wasn't. How nice would it be to retire 15 years early?

I have similar issues. I normally only vape between 60-70 watts but generally that's on a 150-200w mod. I have tried doing the same vape on 75-80w box mods and it just feels super weak. Almost like I am vaping at 35ish watts. Doesnt really make sense why it would be different other then a single battery mod probably isn't maintaining amperage?
IMHO 60-70 watts is likely best on a dual battery mod. I've never vaped that high. I MTL 10w - 25w; RDL up to 30w; occasional DL up to 30w; I'm happy in those ranges. I tried over 35w once, too cloudy for me. :D

You should be able to get 60w - 70w on a single battery mod. A battery won't last very long at 60-70, but it should work.

If your single battery mods can take a 20700 or 21700 you would get better performance, IMO. A Sanyo NCR2070C is rated at 30A 3500mAh and a Samsung 30T 21700 35A 3000mAh. Those are excellent cells. Another excellent performing cell is the Molicel P42A 30A 4000mAh 21700. The Molicel P42A is wider and won't fit in some mods. I'm not sure if their 20700 is wider.

I have and use several different 18650 batteries. My Molicel P26A's and P28A's are rated at 25A CDR and to 35A (temperature limited 60°C / 140°F). Mooch rates the P26A 25A 2600mAh as the "best all-around 18650".

Per Mooch's chart for a single battery mod you need a battery that has a minimum 25A rating (up to 75W each). IMO, a 30A (90W each) battery would likely suit your needs better.

Just about through my tester bottle for dennism's Apple Pie and jeepers it's weird to be filling with a dropper bottle again. So used to the unicorn/Chubby Gorilla bottles the last few years.

I still have two dozen or so old commercial liquid dropper bottles in a box that I could maybe reuse for mixing if they clean up well enough.

I had a '92 S10, 4.3 L V6. We had a nice cap that was easy for me to remove when we needed more room for moving large items. It was a nice little truck for hauling stuff. My wife loved it for making the many runs to get flowers... and more flowers. I liked it for hauling all my musical instruments and gear to gigs. My gear quickly outgrew the truck, lol.

I'm with you. I drive a '03 Ranger Edge. The only 'power' on it is steering & brakes. Manual crank windows, manual seats, no cruise. A/C & heat work great. Bought it used about 6 years ago (great deal). It has it's warts, but I love that little truck. If something breaks, I can work on it. Wife's car is a lease Escape. Something new & dependable that we can take on vacations & stuff, and I don't have to work on it.

Commercial glass bottles cleanup nicely. Plop them in the dish pan with some Dawn, let 'em soak for a while. Fill them with some soapy water, shake them up, rinse them out, let them dry and you are set. Same with the droppers.

I prefer using glass bottles with droppers. Have many 30ml and 15ml bottles. I do have a bunch of 10ml plastic bottles, just don't like using them much, cleaning plastic is a pain versus glass (IMO).

Back in the 70's I had a Chevy Luv truck. LOL. I got too big for small trucks even though I bought several Datsuns in the 80's. Starting in '89 I bought a Chevy Silverado and kept that until 2004 when I got my current truck, a Dodge Ram. Old but still going, and the AC works. That is crucial here lol.

    Manual crank windows
Oh how I miss manual cranking windows. My 1995 Toyota Avalon XL has power windows. A few years back, in the middle of sub zero weather, the drivers side window decided to fail in the down position at the bank drive through. My mechanic fixed it that afternoon, some switch died.

My wife has an Escape. Great car for long trips. The AC died on my S10 years ago and it would have cost a lot to get it fixed so I never bothered.

I use 15 and 30 dropper bottles too. They are a little messy for filling bottom fill tanks like KFL's with the small holes but you get used to it. Needle bottles would be nice but hey, cleaning plastic is worse than cleaning up a little stray juice on the bottom of the tank.

Lately I had to start replacing the droppers. Not sure what the problem is but the older ones won't suck up juice so well and are even worse at pushing the juice out. Maybe the rubber gets old and develops air leaks.
