Uncle has given me leave to give you all an update on his circumstances. They ain't great. He had a bad time recovering from the transesophageal echocardiogram that was performed instead of the ablation he anticipated. Then the Saharan dust that has made its way to Florida wreaked havoc with his lungs, and he is now on oxygen 24/7. His diabetes is not being controlled adequately. And it looks as though he's going to have to go on dialysis soon. All in all, a very crappy time.
If he were writing this post, he'd probably try to keep things light and
throw in a joke or two, but I am not he. It just plain sucks. Still, he's tough and blessed with a great attitude and says he'll be posting again soon. Here's hoping.
