Morning, mixers, and happy Fry day :)

Still summer here, and seems like they've decided it's going to last at least another week :)

My tooth is hurting a lot. I had to make a run to Dollar General last night to get some numbing medicine as the pain pills weren't doing anything for it. I don't see how I'm going to last a month before getting it fixed, but I've got to wait on the stupid insurance to approve it..
I'm sorry you have to deal with this. Tooth pain is awful.

Clenching a cotton ball soaked with clove oil betwixt the bad tooth and the one below has helped me some in the past. Also holding a swig of cognac in my mouth (the later swallowing of said swig helped, too).

Turned out that the orion dna Go doesn't work anymore. I tried every trick I know and it still won't fire. Escribe recognizes it and it charges but it won't read the pod resistance. I checked the pod with a meter and it's fine.

I lose track of the pods. Is that a new one?

Do you have another pod to try?

@hittman I got the Gozee kit today. Despite disliking pastel I do like the matchy matchy of it. BTW, thank you so much. The Gozee is actually smaller then I expected which is cool with me.

Also you did not PM me with shipping cost.????

I'm glad you like it. Don't worry about the shipping. I forgot to send it for like a week so it's on me.

Now you don't have to decide whether you want to communicate with that guy via text, right? A sliver of silver lining, if so.

I think I made it clear enough that I didn't want to text with him but we are still communicating. I promised to charge them and try them out. He might still want the Orion Q I have that is working. I'm not sure.

I have to brag about something unrelated to vaping: The other day, the handle on my toilet broke. Well, not the handle; the lever to which one attaches the chain that lifts the flapper. After much searching, I found a replacement that suited me. No plastic, all positive reviews except for complaints about the lack of installation instructions (which other reviewers helpfully provided) or about the impossibility of removing a screw one isn't supposed to remove. Got the thing the other day and girded my loins for the hell job of removing the old handle that had been installed twenty-six years ago. Managed that after much struggle and hammering but then discovered that the square brass shaft to which the lever attached would not fit through the hole in the toilet tank. After a lot of fiddling and cursing, I got it kind of seated and finished the assembly. The toilet flushed, but the flapper did not reseat itself unless I raised the handle. More cursing along with much sighing. Came to the conclusion that I needed to get that brass shaft to fit through the square hole in the tank. Borrowed a rasp from my sister and after many, many minutes of work, managed to enlarge the hole enough to fit in the shaft. Reassembled the entire contraption, and, huzzah! the toilet now flushes as it should. Sadly, the handle now wobbles a bit, so I still have to try to figure out how to fix that, but, for now, I'm happy and proud.

Virtual treats to anyone who bothered to read this saga. Couldn't resist crowing, though. That I was able to do this was a victory for the ages.
