I'm sure the steering column will be broken. The police had it towed to a lot on the Kansas side of Kansas City so we wont' know until my wife and daughter go to claim it. I have to go do calibrations for a customer this morning or I would have called in and taken the day off.

Yes, likely at least the lock is broken out. Hope that's all they did! Although, if a good system, probably the radio gone as well.

Just got back from doing more calibrations. My wife said State Farm is having the car towed to the Kia dealer so I guess they will cover the charge at the impound lot and tow bill.

Currently 51 and raining here. It's been raining all day and is supposed to continue all night. A high of only 53. I've been tempted to turn on the heat for the first time, but I've been holding off.
