    Yeah, that’s a bit much.
I got everything finished and have about an hour before I go to bed. Just sat down for a vape break. My vape area has gotten out of hand again. I have 22 setups going plus about 10 pods. Something has to go.

They've mentioned it, however don't know if I really want to go through the "troubles " of another major surgery. But more importantly, i honestly do not want to take away a kidney from someone else younger who could put it to better use.

My aunt was on peritoneal dialysis and she didn't have anyone overnight with her. The data was transferred to the kidney center remotely. I can see if your heart were bad enough, that they might not want to risk anesthesia, even for an outpatient procedure. But of course that would exclude a transplant, because that's a bigger surgery. Keep on the dialysis. We wouldn't have fun without you.

Actually, one of my sisters was on peritoneal dialysis, since she was married and had a home health care worker who could assist her (she was on it for 5 years before she died). As for the type of machine you mentioned, they don't offer that one here. And yes right now surgery is not an option.. Anyway, Thanks for the suggestions and incouragement. Matter of fact, don't worry I'm not going anywhere fast - and even if I do I'll be around to hunt ea h and every one of you for years to come . . . Just Sayin' . . . :img:

BTW: Remember it gonna be "All Hollows Eve" :eek:and the "Day of the Dead" in a couple of days too . . . Beware Your "Uncle" . . .

Good morning, random people. Wake up! I went to bed early last night at 10pm, so I awoke at 3am. I'd hoped to fall back asleep so I drank a couple of cups of decaf coffee, but I'm still wide awake, so I've switched to regular.

    Morning, mixers.

Another soggy day here, :) About another half inch overnight, and still coming down.

And apparently some power loss overnight, as well, several devices blinking the 00:00. Nice when it goes out while we're asleep and is back on by the time the cat says wake up :)

Well, you just need a bigger work space :)

I'm having surgery a week from this Friday. My surgeon said and I have read that even nicotine from vaping can hinder wound healing. With this in mind, I'm going to try and switch to 0mg nicotine until a couple of weeks after the surgery. Wish me luck, cuz I'm going to need it. I have no intention of quitting altogether because I enjoy the relaxation that nicotine gives me.

    Good luck!

While clearly not as extensive a procedure, I've done well at my usual 18 mg/ml after getting a tooth pulled.

I suspect that unless one is a hard core and heavy nic cloud chaser (uh, may be mutually exclusive!) not much of a real issue. But yep, going to zero for a bit can't hurt!

Work sucked today. Once again I got none of my own work done. The one and only order printer crapped out and the new one wouldn’t connect to the server. It’s an okidata form feed printer and is a real pain.
