The boss ended up letting us go about 45 minutes early. There were very few customers today. I got home and my wife informed me that she got home and the garage door was open. Evidently it didn’t shut when she left to take her car to get worked on and was gone a few hours. Not the ideal situation when it’s -6 outside without the windchill. We keep a couple little space heaters out there since I vape and she smokes in the garage. Then she tried to turn on the heaters and one didn’t work. So off to the store we go for a new heater. Got it home and the garage is slowly warming up. I’m in the basement vaping now and will until the garage warms up.

I went to bed fairly early last night since I woke up at 4:30 yesterday. Of course that made me wake up at 5 today. Oh well. I usually don’t sleep very late even when I'm off. I’ve got to build a couple tanks today that im testing for a review and we are going to go ahead and prepare some food for the Xmas gathering tomorrow. It’s still single digits today with high winds so don’t plan on spending any time outside.

We have the 2 youngest grandkids over, and it appears someone broke into the empty house next door by breaking the glass in the sliding glass door in the backyard. We called our HOA-funded security but they're worthless so we called the cops. I think they were long gone by then, but I brought out the .45 from the bedroom while I watch the X Files. I normally don't keep guns around when the kids are over, but nothing has happened and I'm about to go to bed.

    Morning, mixers.

So far the predicted ice storm / freezing rain hasn't been much, here. No telling about 5 miles away. Hope it stays that way, it's rough on the power lines. And trees...

Uh, a balmy 26 already, warmer than yesterday's high. We might make it to 33... or not.

    Good morning ladies and gentlemen,

23 December and the last day of the deer hunt, we've been out a whole bunch, Øsa has performed. It had been a while since the last time so she took off completely, 4.5 hours before I "caught" her.
We saw deer, lots of them, and none of them we shot, in fact, we never fired a shot. The sausages tasted good around the campfire while Øsa hunted kilometers away from us lol

I got three rtas cleaned and built for reviews and got the hash brown casserole mixed and in the oven for dinner tomorrow when everyone comes over. It’s barely above zero outside and still 20-30mph winds. No plans on going anywhere today.

We're having a weird one day warm up. 52 and may get to 55. 19 for tomorrow.

I was working today. It was cold, as low as 10 degrees and the gloves that I bought that you are supposed to be able to text while wearing didn't work. I was working with one glove on and one off and the hand without the glove got chilled. It's now 20 degrees which is the predicted low for tomorrow, so it's not getting any warmer until tomorrow, with a predicted high of 34. I work again tomorrow. Belle is still in the shop, so I used my daughter's car today and will use my mother's tomorrow.
