Just ordered 10 batteries. Went with the 10A 3500mah Panasonics that I got last time. I don't use much power and I love the 3500. Got rid of some old HG batteries last fall and another batch today. I recycle them at 2 years. All my HG's are gone now. Used them for years but they don't seem to be available anymore.

Yesterday I washed a bunch of bottles and tanks. For some light entertainment while I washed I turned on the TV in the kitchen. Knowing what was going on in Washington I wanted anything other than news. Going through the Sling list there was a box with a picture of Queen Elizabeth. It was CNN. Turned it on and of course it was nothing to do with the Queen. Don't know if it was a Sling bug or a CNN bug but for at least 3 hours the CNN Clown Show coverage showed a picture of the Queen in the menu.

I'm holding up better than expected at work today. I'm sure I'm going to be pooped out by the time I get home tonight.
Good to hear that the working day went well considering the conditions. You'll probably sleep well tonight.

    Hopefully not to pooped out.
Well, it actually went pretty well. I am tired but can rest after I get home. The work day is almost over and I'll be leaving in about 15 minutes. You know, there's only so much tv you can watch before you're just sick of it. I finished at least 3-4 series binge watching and a few movies. I think I drank about 55 gallons of water the last week or so being sick.

I am officially certified to drive a postal truck. Driving a right hand drive is certainly different. There's a tendency to drift towards the left so that you are driving where you are used to. Gotta stay in your lane!
Did that license come with a free straight jacket? I think it would drive me nuts.

I'd much rather drive Belle for work, but after next weekend, that's not an option. The RHD is something I can get used to, but how much those trucks rattle and shake isn't.

It’s probably about like driving an army jeep.

Good morning. Day two of work starting here. I have to go install an LED lighting kit in one of my boss's light fixtures in his office. I pushed him a while back to let me start putting LED lights in when we had ballasts go bad on our 4' light fixtures. I did my whole shop first then replaced them a few at a time in the showroom and office area. We have probably at least 60-70 4' light fixtures. I've replaced maybe 1/3 to 1/2 of them so far. He never really said much but it has to be lowering our electric bill. This is just one of the many things that I do at my work that aren't really part of my job but I do as much as I can so we don't have to hire contractors.

    Morning, mixers.

Plan to watch the rain ;) Said to be a lot of it coming, although perhaps not as much as folk to the south!

    Hope your recovery continues, Hitt!!

The problem I’ve had with RHD is turning, particularly turning left. It’s very easy to end up on the wrong side of the road,
Had the same problem when I moved to America. Left turns at traffic lights were the worst. First few weeks I used to talk out loud to myself all the time, which lane I was in, which lane I was going to be in after a maneuver, etc. Kept me from slipping into autopilot and screwing up. Another thing that gave me fits was the position of traffic lights. In england the lights are at the near side of the junction, in the US they are at the far side of the junction.
