Yeah I just started Skyrim again!
I start many skyrim games and never finish them, only because I never want it to end. With mods it really seems neverending. I like to play it on the hardest difficulty from the start, but eventually it gets too easy :/

Thanks, SMT ;)

Yeah, likely a loss, but they've already gone way beyond the 5 games max all the "pundits" gave them for the season.

And that saying also goes for any other day of games ;)

And, just maybe, the Hawks are more used to playing in the rain.

I have no horse in this race, that being said, I sort of hope the Purdy Cinderella story continues.

When it comes to playing in weather, I give the nod to the Seahawks.

During the 2010 season I thought no way my 10-6 Packers make it let alone win in the playoffs. But they kept winning. I thought for sure they would lose to the 13-3 Falcons. The Packers kicked their behinds 48-21. The Packers went on to beat the 12-4 Steelers in SB XLV 31–25.

So who knows???

I like the 49ers but I'm picking the Seahawks to win this one. Just have a gut feeling. We'll know soon enough.

As for the other games, I like...

Jaguars over the Chargers (Jags are the Cinderella team this year)
Bengals over the Ravens (No Lamar)
Bills over the Dolphins (Bills have reason to win, Demar Hamlin)
Bucs over the Cowboys (hoping Bucs, but I see this one as a toss up)
Giants over the Vikings (Vikings should win)

FWIW, the Seahawks all-time series record is 30-19 versus the 49ers.
    Which matters not all.

This will be the second time they meet in the playoffs. Last time was January 19, 2014: Seahawks 23, 49ers 17 (NFCCG).
    Which doesn't matter today.

"On any given Sunday, any team can beat any other team."
Very true, but not today. The 49ers can and have run the ball on Seattle, and the team that runs the ball the best will win today.

    Go Seahawks!!!
    Maybe next year!

They really did much better than expected with all the rookies in their lineup.

CMC will tear it up today. Niners by 10.

That's a heck of a gut feeling, but I know how it is. I recently picked NO to win and they did as an underdog. But it hard to go against a 10 game win streak.

Yeah I just started Skyrim again!
I tried to start Skyrim again last week. Unfortunately I lost my launch files so I can only do it through Steam with no mods. Maybe that's for the best, though I'll miss the team of tiny elves who followed me around and protected me from enemies. By the time I gave up on Skyrim I was spending 10 hours writing mods for every hour of playing the game.

All winning streaks eventually meet an inglorious ending.

The 49ers might win today, then again, they might lose.

When it comes to the playoffs, toss your regular season stats out the window. Especially in today's NFL.

Remember that 2007 undefeated Patriots team? Their perfect season, winning streak, came to an end in the SB against the 10-6 Giants.

Overconfidence can easily lead to Failure. I hope your 49ers aren't looking past today's game.

What you can't throw out is the 49ers have the best defense in the league and Seattle is the worst run defense in the playoffs.

    I hope your 49ers aren't looking past today's game.
They play one game at a time, that's why they are 6-0 in division games this year.

I’m finished working on a blackcurrant meringue recipe, after several months.

It took a long time because I had a row of sample bottles sitting my desk for weeks, starting with just blackcurrant and then with meringue added, and didn't have the energy to try them.

Part of the problem is my taste buds aren’t very discriminating. Most of the variations tasted pretty much the same to me. And one day I liked bottle # 3 best, the next day I liked bottle # 1. I'm not master recipe developer.

Honestly the one I liked best is the bottle I dumped all the unused test mixes in.

Think if I try any more new flavors I’ll go back to my regular method, just think about it for a bit and write down a recipe.

Anyway, here it is. I like it enough that it will be one of my 6 regular flavors. Replacing a coffee flavor I got bored with. Probably tweak it from time to time.

    SSA Blackcurrant 2%
    WF Blackcurrant 2%
    TFA Meringue 2%
    FA Meringue 2%
    TFA Sweet Cream 1%

This afternoon I went to a Celebration Of Life for a near neighbor who died. Didn't know her well but she was an amazing artist, and a bit of a mystic. She made a decent living out of it. It mostly wasn't straight painting, she used stuff like shells, bottle corks, and all sorts. We have half a dozen of her efforts hanging on our walls. Her family brought along books of photos of her art, hundreds of them. Also discovered she wrote poetry, they had a large binder full of her poetry and short stories. She had a small house just a couple of blocks from my place, every square inch was hand painted. Walls, floors, trim, doors. Art hanging on the walls. She had a sign by the front door saying, Hippies Use The Back Door Please. It was quite a magical place to visit. The neighbors weren't so happy, she hadn't mowed her lawn in decades. You couldn't even see the house from the street, you walked along a winding path through a forest of trees and vines past a half collapsed garage. There aren't many like her.

Well, the 49ers were Purdy good. 41-23.

LOL. I thought it was a good game until the second half. Then <BOOM> the hammer came down.
    I am impressed with Purdy.

I agree this one is a toss up, but the Boys are favored by 3. I think, or at least hope they pull this one out.

I think Dallas has the all around better team. Their QB is the big question mark.

She sounds like one of a kind.

Added to blog as Black Currant Meringue (I know! How do I come up with these amazing names?).

Yeah Purdy kept missing passes and that 15 yd penalty at the end of the 1st half was killer. But Geno Smith killed Seattle in the 2nd half with the fumble and Int. After that it was over.

Wow the Chargers look good. I may now be the Sceptre King as I have 5 of them, with 3 being the 2nd version. Love 'em. Also thanks to Hittman for the deal we did!

Is there a place to tell the world about the deal we did and how happy I am with it?
