    Somewhere between here and there
It's very cold outside and ferociously windy, and my house is not exactly tight. My furnace can't keep up.

It's 46 now. As long as the power stays on, I'll be fine. I normally keep my house at 54, so this isn't all that different.
That’s still awful cold inside to us. My wife would have none of that. I don’t think I’d care for much under 68.
A while back I made something sorta similar. Chocolate Coconut Cookie. I made it to mimic a Girl Scouts Samoa cookie. PUR TCC is in it strictly for its toasted coconut note.

    PUR Cookie 2%
    JF Biscuit 1.5%
    PUR Toasted Coconut Cheesecake 3%
    SSA Ripe Coconut 0.5%
    MB Glamour Chocolate 2.5%
    VTA Chocolate Milk 1.5%

The combination of PUR Cookie + JF Biscuit would give you the ideal cookie base for a striped fudge cookie.

PUR Cookie is a fairly neutral tasting cookie that pairs well with JF Biscuit. JF Biscuit is more of a crunchy sugar cookie. It's not anywhere near as sweet as CAP Sugar Cookie.

Drop the PUR TCC and SSA RC. Sub whatever chocolate(s) you prefer. Add a cream (1%-2%) for moistness and mouthfeel. You would then have yourself something that mimics a striped fudge cookie.
I haven’t used any Pur flavors in a long time. I’m sure I must have the cookie somewhere. I have several different cookie flavors so did a little three flavor cookie mix last night to sample after I posted that comment. I’ll see how it is. If it’s not what I’m looking for then I’ll try yours.

I vaped cherry flavors for years before I started DIY (with plenty of help) last summer. I'd love to find a Cherry Pie recipe like @dennism is hunting. :thumb:

LOL. You and @dennism got me thinking about this. My thoughts thus far...

OOO Pie Crust 2.5% - it's your basic pie crust.
FA Graham Cracker 0.75% - if a graham note is desired in the crust.

    --OR--

TFA Pie Crust 2.5% - it's another basic pie crust.
FA Graham Cracker 0.75% - if a graham note is desired in the crust.

Adding 0.5% SSA Waffle with Butter would add a very light fluffy bakery note to the crust. It would also add a nice butter note to the pie.

INW Shisha Vanilla 1% - adds a light touch of vanilla.
SSA Whipped Cream 0.75% - 1% --- for a topping, moisture and mouthfeel.

    If desired: WF Crumble Topping 0.5% - 0.75% --- for a streusel-like topping.

Then add SSA Juicy Cherries as desired.

    So something like this...

    OOO Pie Crust 2.5%
    FA Graham Cracker 0.75%
    WF Crumble Topping 0.5% - 0.75%
    INW Shisha Vanilla 1%
    SSA Whipped Cream 0.75% - 1%
SSA Juicy Cherries - whatever % you desire

If a graham note is not desired then leave it out. Or add 0.5% SSA Waffle with Butter.

That's where I would start and then tweak to taste. :)

That would also work as a pie base minus the cherry. Then any fruit, or fruit combos, could be added. It would also work as a base for a butterscotch, or caramel, cream pie.

Morning all, at least I didn't have to prove I'm not a robot to get on here:

Bookmarked a couple of ideas to look at later. I do love the bookmark feature.
I love the bookmark feature too. I have tons of ECF posts bookmarked and organized with labels.

Figured out how to bookmark Threads too. Just bookmark the first post, or any post, of a thread. Give the bookmark the thread name and add a label = Thread. Done.

Using Labels with Bookmarks is very powerful. Makes finding what you're looking for very quick and easy.

As of today we have 76 members using the bookmarks feature.

No plans tonight except resting and my wife has me looking at paint colors for the bedroom and bathroom. Not super excited about painting but we’ve put the bathroom project on hold long enough. It’s time to get going on it.
Painting!!! I dread doing it until I get started. Once I get everything setup and start painting then I'm okay with it. I still do the cut-in painting with a brush and no tape.

48 inside is very cold to me

Yeah, I could not handle 48°F indoors during winter. We like it warm inside during the winter months. Somewhere between 70°-72°. Although my youngest daughter and her wife will, and do, crank it higher here and there.

    Thank you!
Bookmarked and adding to my recipe book. I don't have any OOO or or INW flavors and I'm out of TFA pie crust so I'll be making a flavor order.

    I agree. 70-72 is great.

I'd be interested in knowing if you tried that recipe and how you liked it. I'm partial to the SSA Juicy Cherries and the following was not too much cherry for me.

And also this variation on a Cherry Crumble with SSA

I haven't tried the recipe yet (on my next mixing schedule). After checking I'm going to try juicy cherries at 1% and go from there.

I would like to try the Samoa cookie recipe. I don't have glamour chocolate, any subs?

Just about any chocolate can be subbed. I would use whatever chocolate flavor you like best. Then tweak the percentage to your liking.
