No, the weather really sucked so the wife rescheduled it for tomorrow. But we've played a lot with her with toys and she's really coming around to the wife - she has taken to me since the start and spends all her awake time on my lap. For some reason we just clicked, but she is getting better and better. It's just going to take a lot of effort to housetrain her. She runs very fast and can jump pretty high for a 4lb dog.

Amazon sells FDA compliant silicone rubber sheets in many sizes and thicknesses.
That one is $7.13 USD and it would work nicely. It's sized at 0.75" width, 36" length and 2mm thickness. The nice thing about that size is you can then take a ruler and a razor blade and cut it into strips of several sizes that would work best for you.
