CAP Sugar Cookie v1 is an excellent flavor. On its own, yes, it is too sweet (for me).

Pairing another cookie flavor with CAP SC can significantly reduce the sweetness. SSA Shortbread Cookie, FA Cookie, SSA Shortbread Biscuit or MB Soft Baked Cookie Base will each do the trick.

WF Bread (Sweet) will also reduce the sweetness. It's an excellent neutral bakery flavor.

I have FlavorJungle Yellow Cake. Not sure why.
That's probably the best one to have.

Thanks for sharing that. There for a while I was using FA Cookie Premium and FA vanilla cookie mixed together for cookie recipes. The problem with getting new flavors is that then I forget about the old ones.

    You're welcome.

FA Vanilla Cookie is an excellent flavor. It is a very highly concentrated flavor. I won't use it over 0.5%. I prefer it backing up other bakery flavors in a mix (0.25% - 0.5%). When I originally mixed with it at 1.5% it completely took over the mix.

I piffed my Sugar Cookie long ago. Even mixed with other flavors it’s too sweet for me.

Does anyone have a good and simple Yellow Cake recipe?
I would just take one of the white cake mixes you've made and sub yellow cake. Consider adding 0.5% FA Cookie to add texture and a cake crust. That's worked well in some of my cake mixes.

I do have yellow cake mixes in my notebooks. LOL. I'm too lazy ATM to look through them.

While I use ELR and ATF, I don't post my recipes or flavors on either one. I mostly use those sites for research.

Lazy? That’s my line. :) When I’m not so lazy I’ll see if I can dig up a cake recipe. Noted the FA Cookie.

After working last night and starting at 4:30am this morning, I am very much enjoying my lazy. The rest of us are carrying the load while DD1 recovers. Her husband has been allowed to help out but only for an hour or two here and there (for now, but that will increase).

We do have one of the part-time folks helping out more. It will be that way until DD1's stress fracture heals, is in less pain and able to move around better. She is, ummm, very VERY testy today, her poor hubs is catching the brunt of it. As are her sister, Mom and I. We told her to cool her jets.

She hates wearing the boot and does not like the crutches. We told her last night, Too Bad. It'll take 2-4 weeks for her stress fracture to heal. And then, she doesn't know it yet, she won't be resuming her normal duties for a while. She will be mad at us, but too bad.

Evidently I have multiple packages coming today. Somehow my Voltrove RTA is out for delivery already as well as My flavor jungle order for the green tea. @FranC I'll be needing a recipe for that green tea.
