LOL ... yeah that is exactly how they often deliver items to my house (no kidding)....... I live way out in the woods and no UPS driver or FedEx driver will drive through the woods to get to my house.... I have had brand new computers and other devices thrown into a snow bank at the end of my lane. Really makes me angry at times.

That wouldn’t make me happy either. You can’t have your pkgs held for you?

Probably, but it is the same with all carriers........ I mean they only have to drive down a lane that is about a quarter mile long but instead they sometimes throw my deliveries anywhere at the beginning of my lane. One time I ordered a Christmas present for my wife from Amazon and I was tracking the package. An email from UPS indicated that it had been delivered but they never showed up. So i figured that they just threw it at the end of the lane like they often do.... I went to the end of the lane but I couldn't find the package.... After looking around for a bit I noticed that there was a bag hanging off of one of the trees in the woods leading to my house LOL..... In other words, they made it about 1/2 the way down my lane and then decided to simply hang it from a tree.

That would upset me too. At our place, far northern Wisconsin, we're also in the woods. We have a very long driveway that leads to our place. LOL, it's more like a long road. UPS, DHL and FedEx do drive up to our house with deliveries. We have a box at the P.O. for USPS regular mail and have them hold our packages.

Yeah I know what you mean......... I am so far out in the woods they have to pipe the sunshine in to me LOL..... They refuse to drive through the woods to my house during the winter and I can understand that but not during the summer......... I am aware that people can have packages held but I have just never done it before. I may have to do that in the future because most of the time I never know where my stuff is going to get dumped.
