The key word is “somewhere “. I remember mine as working good but that’s about it. Been awhile.,
It really is a great little mod. I’ll have to look for them. I’ve been meaning to start pulling stuff out of storage and rotating mods. It’s just that I started getting into boro stuff and have been distracted with that.

I try to limit myself to five back and forth to work.

I just successfully wound a quad core ni80 coil and installed it in the meson rta. It’s coming in at .22 ohms.
So, how are you liking it?

I'm gonna stick with using 2 PVs as long as I can. Although, that could all change, perhaps as soon as next week. TBD.
For years I had 12 or more. This year I've cut it down to 6. Lot less stress actually. I'm thinking of setting up another one just to cycle through the mixes I only use once in a while.

I came across an Aspire Nautilus the other day. I have a ton of Regular aspire coils so I might as well use some.
Me too. Bunch of tanks and a bag full of coils. I'm keeping them in case of not being able to wrap coils anymore.

All batteries are now charged and put away. I can read now or work on recipes.
How many new ones do you have in stock? And which brand do you prefer, Fran?

I use round 28g SS316 for everything, 6 wraps at 3mm. Except for one KFL on a Provari. Like to keep it simple. Used to dry burn the hell out of them until I read something here years ago. Now I pulse them on a mod I use for coiling set to 5W. You can see vapor evaporating from the coil before it glows at all, I just pulse it until the vapor stops. That way they stay nice and shiny.

I have one caramel mix that gunks up a coil in a week. It's not even dark, just pale yellow.
    28ga SS316L here too. ID 2.5mm, 6 or 8 wraps.
My Dvarw 16 has ID 2.0mm though.
1200ft 316, not going empty

So I accomplished a little bit tonight. I got the meson cleaned and built. I also got the stubby tank cleaned and will put a new build in it tomorrow. I’ve got a few others that could use some attention too.

An update from Uncle, though I'm a few days late getting it posted:

"Made it through surgery, after 1 week in the hospital. They fixed the bone, no hip replacement. Doctors have been talking above me, about me, making decisions for me, without my consent.
A week after surgery...went to rehab. They've given me no idea how long I'll be here. Nothing has been a pleasant experience. Really holding on to the last thread before I murder someone, which could be anyone in the area, including myself.

    Just Sayin'......... :)

PS: You guys do remember what sarcasm is...."
