I'm about to get ready for church. Tonight is the Easter Vigil and is the most sacred and joyous night of the year. I expect to be there 2.5-3 hours.

What’s everyone up to?

I took down the light so the wife could finish painting. Then did a run to the hardware store and to the nursery to get some fertilizer for our spruce tree that isn’t looking too good. We planted that tree as a two foot tall tree about 22 years ago and it’s about 25 feet tall now. I showed the guy at the nursery a picture and he said to water it good then take an auger and make holes around the perimeter of the tree and fill the holes with fertilizer. Hopefully it works. I’d be sad to lose that tree.

I hope you can save the tree. I planted 2 foot spruce at my house about 10 years ago and it grew fast. Heather sent me a picture and it’s a beautiful tree about 20 foot tall now.

The Cap. Waffle is way better than the FA but I can’t taste the fruit in the mix. I’m going to add fruit to it tomorrow and let it sit a while.

I got the pellet grill fired up and have the ham cooking. The wife got up a few minutes ago and was grumpy. I hope she goes back to bed for a while. I’m surprised she agreed to have dinner at three knowing how much stuff we need to prepare.
