I use a custard Stone that I let steep at least 4-6 weeks. Then add the lemon (or whatever fruits). I like A LOT of flavor obviously but you can adjust to personal preference.

IMHO, the best apple flavors are VTA Fuji and VTA Granny Smith. INW Two Apples is good for an apple juice flavor. I also like FA Fuji and JF Fuji but feel that VTA is better. Their Granny Smith has no equal.
I found a recipe I want to try that calls for 1% of FA Apple (Stark). I don't have this and don't want to buy it. It is described as an apple juice flavor that is quite weak. At 1%, it can't add much so I think I will sub INW Two Apples.
I would be happy to share my apple notes but had a hard drive crash back in December and my notes are on an external HD that I can't access. No idea why my laptop won't recognize the external HD. I am going to clean the ports with canned air and cross my fingers that dirty USB ports are the problem.

I got my BCF order but then I got company that just barely left so I'm getting nothing sft'ed tonight. Plus I have to switch the dang flavors around cause FLV Wheat comes with one of those extra tall bottles caps.
Agree — sticking with your version.
I do have a couple other bases I use on occasion. I like all 3 but the Cap version seems to be my go to mostly.
I have only one version and is the one I plan to use. Is this what you refer to as the CAP version?

I will have to look up the others. TFA version is good also. Everything is a mess and I will have to find it. Someday I may get organized and get all my recipes and other info into my binder. I usually have all the time in the world to do things but just don't seem to get much done.I'll get there though. I actually did get something done today.

I tried the granola 2% sft tonight. Whoever mentioned it earlier was right about 2% being too much. I dripped some cap peanut butter into the tank and am going to let it sit to see if it tames the granola some.
That would be me. I tried several different thing to try to 'tame' that flavor.....It just overwhelms everything I tried. I don't even think PB will have much of an impact. sry.
Yeah, the peanut butter isn’t doing much. I’m determined to at least finish the tank. Even if it takes a few days.
