The ones I call bayonet have to snap in so that the tabs line up then you give it a quarter turn. I'm not sure if I'm using the right terminology.

Dry continues, thankfully the temp has yet to spike, but they keep saying that it will.,. high 80s (and spots over 90) for the weekend and Monday, then cooling back down.,

Might try to finish the whacking before we melt.

I think of bayonette like a camera lens, with lugs and 1/4 turn.

The city DPW just finished taking all the stuff I had curbside. I helped them toss things in the garbage truck. Tossed out more than I anticipated. Just happy to be rid of it.

Earlier this morning via Facetime showed Her what was all out there. She asked "you moved all that by yourself?". I said, "nope, my good friend HT (hand truck ) helped". Can't repeat Her response, but it was funny.

Took a walk around the house and stopped to look at the addition again. They really have done an excellent job so far. I doubled back and got the mail. Then I realized I haven’t seen the cellar stairs so I went back out and tried out the steps. They still need to come through the cellar wall.

I would've said "my good friend Dolly helped."

She did ask "who the hell is HT?". ( "ummm, hand truck" ) Had to use the hand truck to get heavy stuff from the 2nd floor to the 1st floor. Then I used my 4 wheel dolly to roll stuff out to the curb.
