This morning the electricians came round and hooked up our sewer control stuff. Reworked the breaker box and installed a control panel on the wall outside.

I started getting ready to do my least favorite household maintenance job. Redoing the caulk in the bathroom. It's messy and sticky and you have to get it right the first time, no patching up mistakes the next day. A pain for me anyway, a pro could knock it out in no time but they charge a lot. I have a list of stuff to buy from Lowes, should be ready to do the deed next week.

Went to the last kids baseball game last night. We just had two weeks of hot dry weather and another 2 weeks to go before we get rain. Last night there was a 1% chance of rain. It started bucketing down just as we got to the game, and lasted just long enough to see us through the game. The kids didn't seem to mind,

Good luck!

I finally went to an electric (battery) caulking gun, makes life a lot easier. Cut the tube tip to the desired size, adjust the motor speed as needed. After just a little practice you can lay an even bead for the whole tube, if you need to. If you already have other battery hand tools, see if that maker has one. The tool itself is pretty cheap, but not so much if you also have to get the battery and charger...

My grandkids got rain for their baseball game a week or so ago. None of the kids cared about the rain.

That’s one of my least favorite things also.

I didn’t know there were electric ones. I’ll have to check it out.

BTW. What have you been busy with?

Yesterday morning we watched one of the neighbors mares give birth to a pretty little chestnut filly. Neighbor lady called us and simply said "come now". She was up on her wobbly legs in about 45 minutes and was nursing about 30 minutes later.

That sounds very nice. I wouldn’t mind watching that.
