LOL, I hear flavor voices!!!

    Sometimes we play Flavor Chess.

Pawns are the 10ml white caps, Bishops are MB red caps, Queens black top 30ml and Kings are the big white caps.
I put the opposition into check with my Queen. See the red line.
Their Queen and Bishop could have me in a spot of bother.

Just stuck my head in the sink and ran some ice cold water all over. I'm wide awake and raring to go, all over again!!! :w00t:
You needed that cold water.

    Well, shucks.

Going off of Wonder Flavours photo for Alaskan Berries...

they look just like Alaskan Salmonberries...

    Salmonberries_lg.jpg

If that's what WF was aiming for, then salmonberries are supposed to taste like:

"Salmonberries have a more subtle flavor than their blackberry and raspberry cousins. They're tart with a bit of mild sweetness; the taste is reminiscent of rhubarb."

    taken from The Spruce Eats:

Alaskan berries + Pastry Cream sounds like a good plan (to me anyhoo).

Yes, I read an article similar to that when I first got my orders. They sound good to me. I guess I'll have to do another 2 flavor mix.

I thought I already mixed the Summertime Lemonade but I didn't. I just write the recipe. It's mixed now along with another one. Had to get a new bottle of nic mix. So I made 2 fresh bottles. Don't like to get to behind.

I've been busier today than I've been in a long time. Might mix another one or maybe two.
I also picked the flavor to drip without looking.. I picked the WF Buttercream (Peanut Butter). Gave it a shake and put it back. Will give it another day or two.

    Morning, mixers.

Not going to say a word about the weather, since we seem to be the only place continental US that isn't getting hammered. Yeah, a bit warmer than average and no rain, but still feel lucky!
Where I am is doing pretty well, too. Humid and foggy, with more rain than usual (moderate--no deluges), but cool compared to 'most everywhere else. Smoke hasn't been a problem, either.

    two 5ml sft's done

did one with WF Pudding (Milk Chocolate) and another one with WF Ice Cream (Dark Chocolate)

dripped a little of each after a good shake (like i do with nearly everything i mix)

i am super impressed with Pudding (Milk Chocolate) - i knew this one was a total winner from the first hit; it's very smooth and creamy; the chocolate is not quite a milk chocolate although it leans more towards that; it isn't like any other chocolate flavor i have; this flavor will see a fair amount of use; already have some ideas for it

also impressed with Ice Cream (Dark Chocolate) - it tastes like an ice cream with Hershey's Syrup stirred into it; it's not a true dark chocolate like MF Dark Chocolate is; it may need the help of another ice cream flavor in order for the IC to take more of a center stage; it is really good as is though

both are strong winners IMO, they will only get better with a little steep time (5mls, 2-4 days); i could easily vape these sft's up today, especially the pudding milk choc, but i won't LOLz

I'd like to see any rough ideas you have for those two flavors. The Buttercream (Peanut Butter) will be my first to drip. Mixed 3 days ago so will give another day or two.

I got two more mixes done. The four recipes I mixed today are all new ones. My divider is full but if I want to mix more I have plenty of room in my big case. Tomorrow I need to refill 2 30 ml mixes that are favs. One is a cheesecake and the other a cereal bar.

For sure I'm going to mix Pudding Milk Chocolate with Nanaimo Bars - nice simple 2 flavor mix with lotsa flavor - the two chocolates will compliment each other nicely - the creaminess from the pudding will add a pleasing touch to the nanaimo bar.

Pudding milk chocolate as the main chocolate note in a milkshake mix. Creaminess from the pudding will add to the overall milkshake profile.

A cookie mix or two with pudding milk chocolate / a cake mix / a chocolate pudding pie with whipped cream (and maybe coconut) / chocolate pudding yogurt. A nut flavor in a couple of those will be nice.

Also a creamy chocolate milk with either FA or VTA milk.

WF Pudding (Milk Chocolate) will work nicely with FLV Vanilla Pudding as an accent. Thinking is the two puddings will gel nicely.

They're just basic ideas I've jotted down so far. Pretty much the same/similar kinds of ideas for the ice cream dark chocolate.
