I do have a plan for today. I need to find a shower curtain I like and a curtain rod.
My wife got up late as expected. I don’t mind. I figure the later we leave the sooner I get back home.

Might be the only place continental US with, uh, normal weather?? Still no rain, but rumors of that for Sunday night are growing. "Measurable", they claim! My gauge only goes to the hundredth of an inch, so we'll see.

Speaking of weather, the sun is out this morning with the weather saying a mostly sunny 81. Could be worse and it's going to be hotter every day til it reaches 90 on Thursday says the weather.
July and August are typically our driest times, but this has been a bit excessive. At least our spells of heat have been for only a few days at a time, and mostly cooling enough overnight to provide some relief - and the ability to pull the inside temp down for the day.
It's gonna be a bit cooler today...high of 92, but the humidity is 61%. I'm not sure where all that moisture is coming from.
