Went to the State Fair today. We live just 4 miles from the fairground. I took a vape but vaping was prominently banned and it was very crowded. We were there a bit past my time limit but I had stuck a couple of nic lozenges in my pocket. I keep them around for occasions like that. And Saturday a GD is getting married. That will mean a session in a catholic church followed by a reception. I went to a catholic wedding once and it was really long. Lot of standing up and sitting and kneeling and so forth. Plus singing and reciting psalms and incomprehensible yakking by the priest. A lozenge might stop me losing it. Hopefully I will be able to grab a vape between the two places.

Idk if this will work for you but I just stealthily take a hit when possible in situations like this and bury it so little or no Vapor comes out. I also vape high mg nic salts though so I often only need 1 hit.

I remember years ago making some high nic unflavored mostly PG juice for that reason. It did work but I rarely needed it so I didn't keep it up.

I keep mine hanging next to the kitchen window. They say close to windows is bad since they can get tangled up in the bug screen or they can't see the glass and fly into it, But I never had a problem with that. They know exactly where the window is. More birds on it this year than ever before. Even had something I haven't seen in 10 years of putting out a feeder, a few times the last couple of weeks there have been 2 feeding at the same time on opposite sides of the feeder.

Had a major problem with ants. Suddenly the feeder was covered in tiny ants. On one side they were crawling down the chain, on the other side they were crawling back up. Asked around and found out about ant moats. No more ants.
There’s no screen or anything to get tangled on.

That is a nice break. Why is it he will be gone?
He’s on a trip to Colorado with his wife. I found out today that he’s coming back a day early. I have to say that I was sincerely disappointed to hear it. He’s been really tough to get along with recently. I think he’s not handling it well that he’s not calling all the shots and has someone to answer to which he’s never had before.

So why did he sell out then?

I was never a boss, always a techie. Most folks don't want to be a boss, The main requirement seems to be that you really want to be a boss. Then you get the title and the office, but for some folks if they don't get to call all the shots then being the boss just isn't fun.

Well the whole thing had to start as his idea didn’t it?

He told me that he was concerned that if something happened to him then the business would close and all the employees like me that had been with him for 20+ years would suddenly be unemployed. Initially he was just looking for investors to help build a cylinder fill plant but ended up going this way instead. The new company is just an investment company that buys private run businesses like ours and keeps the management and employees while helping the company grow and become more profitable. However, on our end we have to upgrade our computer system and meet their cybersecurity requirements. I have been pretty happy so far with the way things are going. Him, not so much.

No, he’s unhappy with his own choices.

What does it mean when I'm excited to get some pens I ordered? Do i need to sign up for AARP? They aren't fancy by any means, but they just simply work and work well in practically any condition.
    Next up is Life Alert.
