Morning, mixers.

Claim is the high temps are gone, maybe for the week. (Maybe longer?) High smoke from distant fires kept the heat in, only down to 60 overnight, but enough to cool the house down this AM. And said to not reach 80 for a bit.

And mumbling about rain. No, not showers. Hope the got that right!!

It's going to be a touch cooler this week, the highs are in the 90s, but still no mention of rain.

Hard to tell atm if the grey sky is clouds or smoke, but the claim was the rain would be late in the day, and overnight.

So probably smoke, for now. Well watered yesterday, so we won't have to go out and breath it

It never ceases to amaze me how fast a GTX coil can make a flavor change.

I "fixed" a couple/three recipes a while back because they didn't have any fruit,or chocolate or etc. The recipe I have is one I added raspberry to. It is much better than it would have been I am sure. I can vape this with no problem but I'm thinking not good enough for the blog. More vaping time will tell better

Been another good day for seeing hummers also.

I really like the mix that went in my Zlide. Of course that's the one I can't find. I thought I had everything in order but I guess not. Hopefully it will turn up.

Ran around a bit this afternoon just getting the hang of the new mower. Figured out how all the controls work. Still have to stop and think before doing anything, Guess it becomes automatic after a while.

Then I got into the part of the yard when the ground bees live, got buzzed by a big swarm of them. One bit me right next to my ear hole, another got me on the back of my shoulder through my tee shirt. That was it for today. Still got 3 more days in the 80's before it gets hot again. I'll take another shot tomorrow after a good spray of bug repellant.
