Thanks Zazie  We’ll try our best :D

Yeah, smac, good luck to you folks and everyone else in it's path!

I'm not sure how much you were (are?) into the alternative/grunge scene from back when, but was wondering if you ever heard of Truly?

I ripped this song title for one of my mix names just the other week,

I got my friend @Kat56 to do several juice names for me. You'll know when they come up. I'm not that creative.
It can be tough to come up with names after a while!

I probably shouldn't give my testers a unique name until after I see if they have a future but I just can't help but name them.

I do have some TBDs though. (To Be Determined)

I'm not creative with names at all.

Dd has meatballs in the crock pot so I know we're having spagetti and meatballs for dinner.
    Sounds good!

I have some Zatarain's Dirty Rice underway right now.
I used to do Jambalaya from scratch years ago but just use the boxed mixes now.
I add diced tomatoes, garlic, onion, more spices, hot sauce, chicken, and Andouille sausage (Pa. made ).

I love Jambalaya and ate it every supper time when I was in New Orleans for a week years ago.

You lost me. What is dirty rice? The rest sound good except for the hot stuff. I would leave that out.

    Awesome!
I have never had the real deal except maybe one time in Philly at the Jambalaya Jam music festival. I don't know if those folks at that stand were really from La. though.

    Thanks gloop! :)

Absolutely. Some might consider Neil the godfather of grunge. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest during the 80's, it was kind of hard to get away from. My regret was not seeing Soundgardern while Hiro Yamamoto was in the band. On aside, I picked that Crazy Horse song at random without knowing it would have a full moon as the back drop; kinda like tomorrow night with the Blue Moon. Not sure if that was cool or creepy. lol.

The spices and meats used turn the rice a "dirty" color. I never had it authentically prepared so don't know how close the boxed version is.
I guess that the spices in this are a little different from the Jambalaya mix.

Ah, I see. In this house dd is the only one that likes hot food. She doesn't make hot because I don't like it and SIL can't eat it.

Oh, it's only really hot if you make it so.
Basics are rice, onion, green pepper, celery, garlic (if you like) and whatever spices, meats/poultry/seafood you want to throw in there.
    (Jambalaya anyway!)

It really looks about the same as the Jambalaya mix that I usually use.
It's really not that dirty at all!
