Interesting evening, I was just on FB in one of the more popular private DIY groups, some idiot from Beantown commercial juices made the most stupidest post I've ever seen. Ever.

"I love seeing folks experiment but the one thing I see almost everyone do here is mix at very low flavor percentages. The big hitters in the bakery space for example are mixing flavor percentages at 25-40%. Crank that sh** up guys."
He included a photo of four of Beantown's commercial juices - FUNNY - it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out he's trying to sell his juices in the group.
What a total
ing loser to even lightly (or not so lightly) suggest people aren't using very well known percentages for their mixes. To slam heavy hitters, with very popular mixes, in the DIY community is stupidity beyond stupidity.
He's dumber than dumb, telling people to use up to 40% total flavorings in a mix.
Many, not all, mixers know that you can only take any given flavor so far before it folds back over and turns a mix in to total garbage. He disagreed. There is a reason we do SFT's, well a couple actually, to learn what a flavor truly tastes like, and to understand how far you can push a flavor, provided one SFT's a flavor at multiple percentages. Some will do the former, most won't do the latter (once upon a time I did, that's how I was taught).
Apparently he's clueless about FLV, SSA, WF, some FA, and MF flavors, where using low percentages is the norm.
Well, he was pretty much slammed by some very heavy hitters over his dumber than dumb, and very clueless, post. Yet he remained very argumentative. I had my go with him, and did not mince my words. On FB there is no censoring certain words, you say what ya dang well please, people don't like it, or are offended, or their feelings are hurt, tough
, that's their problem 100%.
Many of us asked him to post a recipe that uses 40% total flavoring, he repeatedly declined, that's telling, very telling. He also routinely boasted that he's sold millions of units. But, I suppose any knobshine can post whatever they want on FB (and LOL, people do, every single day).
