We had a wind Advisary last night and another one now. Last night the wind was ferocious. They call Chicago the windy city, but I've been there several times. It's not near as windy as most of Texas, where there's nothing between us and Canada, except a barbed wire fence. Wind speed is currently 23mph.

Going to change to rain and wind. Don't like the wind. Looks like a couple hours of snow first.

Good evening. The highway was clear almost all the way until I got a couple miles from home and hit an icy patch. I immediately slowed down and got in the right lane. A little further up was a longer icy patch and a tow truck was pulling a jeep out of the ditch. I’m glad it wasn’t me. I got home and grabbed the snowblower out of the shed and cleared mine and my neighbors driveway and sidewalk. I didn’t think anyone was home since I knew he works late. However someone must have been inside and texted him at work because he texted me and thanked me. He said he probably wasn’t going to get home until at after leaving at 4:30 this morning.
