I did go get my lawn stuff. They have a program where you get all the lawn chemicals for the season. I went ahead and got the grub control too since you get an extra 10% off anything you buy with the program.

It's good she called. I always worry about my daughter when she makes long drives and would be frantic if she's very late without calling. A little late doesn't bother me, because Ft. Worth traffic can be a bugger.

Good morning mixers. I went and got a new scale and now weigh 10lbs. more than the old one read. That's kind of a bummer.

Guess you need a third opinion to figure out which set of scales was reading wrong.

Late last year I weighed myself for the first time in a long while, and I had dropped almost 20lbs. That's a big deal when you're skinny like me. A few days later I discovered a plastic bottle top underneath the scales which stopped it from dropping all the way down when I stood on it. Now I'm back to my normal weight.

Yeah - I was worried for a couple of days. The things that cause sudden weight loss are all scary. I had used the same hole in my belt for years though so that took the edge off a bit.
