Starting about a year ago I dropped all but one of my recipes and invented 5 new ones. The new ones were all fruit based. I'm still tinkering with them. Now I'm getting bored though. It's probably a good time to mix new recipes because I have full bottles of all the current ones so the new ones will have plenty of time to steep. Since I have multiple fruit flavors I haven't tried yet my thought is to stick with fruit but use more bakery tastes.

I also have bottles of my previous recipes sitting around. I'll probably dig some of them out. Been missing the coffee and earl grey.

I know folks here mix new recipes all the time. I used to do that but nowadays it takes me a longish time to feel the urge. One thing I'm determined to stick to is only having 6 setups going, actually 7 right now because 2 have the same flavor. Trying out two different decks in the BB's.

This morning I found a small leak behind the shower wall. Turned out it was the same joint that sprang a major leak last summer so it was free this time. Still it took me 2 hours to empty out the closet behind the shower wall and remove the doors and shelves. And another 2 hours to put it all back together.

Got the tax returns completed by the preparer today, with the usual huge refund. We prepay tax on everything. Financial advisor gives me hell over that, but I like getting the big check. It arrives just as the large annual insurance payments come due.

Just checking in. Busy week at work, fun with meds from the doctor - they sent the wrong prescription to the pharmacy. The doc's office is blaming it on a new computer system. I had to get the doc and the pharmacy to look back at prior prescriptions to verify that I was right. Then I got a message from the pharmacy that the drug was out of stock - despite the pharmacist telling me they had it when I was there this afternoon. Hopefully they'll get their act together by Friday when I run out. UGH.

@englishmick I typically have 4-5 setups running. 2 are dedicated to my latest ADV (they change over time), 2+ are my alternates to keep the interest and switch up. I try to mix every couple of weeks, most are my usuals but then I like adding in one that sounds interesting to try. Sometimes, I bring back old favorites, then I remember why I liked them and they're a nice change.

@ShowMeTwice please keep enjoying those walks and reading on my behalf!! I wish I could do those. I'm waiting for good weather to rehab my knee a bit more. PT gave me guidelines that I'm trying to follow, but I so want to be out in the sunshine, walk and breathe in the fresh air. That's a happy place for me too. I'm sure you're up to the task!

@hittman Good luck with work getting busier and sorting your stash. I have projects to do at home and am procrastinating. I'm hoping I'll be inspired to get my .... in gear and do some clean up one of these days.

@FranC I may be in Keene on Sat. for wake, but the weather looks crappy with snow. I'm keeping an eye on it but driving 1.5+hrs to spend maybe an hour and then 1.5+hrs to get home is a tough call if the roads are bad. If I do make it up there, I'll wave as I go by :) If the weather was better, I'd drop in for a visit!

Morning, mixers :)

Nice to not have to throw my gear back in the car and hit the road. And be able to take the time to read the funnies :)

Only 4 mods going, on the road trip, not my usual dozen. So, yeah, just old favorites atm. Nah, not willing to try new mixes when I'm 1500 miles from my supplies ;)

They staged, briefly last night, what they call a rain storm. Nice looking ominous black clouds, some actual moisture coming down for maybe an hour. But, uh, more like what we'd call a light drizzle. Did do a nice job on the temp, though. Don't expect that part to hold.

I am in Swanzey which is just outside of Keene, I'll be looking for your wave. :)

Good morning. I made some progress on my review last night. It’s a bit long since I’m covering two pods in one review. I hope to get it posted this weekend.
Good morning, hitt.:) Hope your day goes by fast.
