To be honest, recipes with more than 5 flavors confuse me.
Early in my mixing days I ordered I think it was 10-12 flavors for one recipe then didn’t even like it. I have a few with more than five but my majority is probably 6 or less.

    Morning, mixers.

Dang, slept in! Retired for about 12 years, and still usually awake before 6, but made it to just after 7! Weird, but I'll take it :)

Late evening all. I'm placing an order on Amazon for a few things. A glass beaker set (for mixing) come to mind. Should I get a set? What do you recommend?

Also, anything else you would suggest, that may be of necessity.

    On my list is...
    LB-501 digital scale
    Cellucotton

**I have 120ml, 100ml, 60ml bottles and plenty of quality syringes.**

Some years back I did get a beaker set. And, well, hardly used. I really don't use them except when I mix up my "base", when I mix my nic, PG and VG without flavors. And any old glass container big enough would be fine for that. Just need, say, a Pyrex measuring cup of enough capacity to measure out those 3 items in bulk. So, imo, not needed.

Scale is good, and I've been a rayonista for years. :)

When mixing flavors, I just mix into the bottle, on the scale. Bottle on, tare. First flavor in, tare, and so on. Easy peasy. :)

    Good Morning.

I'll take your advice, and run with it. I have a glass measuring cup that will work If needed.

@rosesense , I hope that you and yours have been well.

I've finally worked through all of my chocolate testers and am not really confident that any are real winners.

Both TPA and FW Fudge Brownie were at the top of the bunch, to my tastes, followed by FW Milk Chocolate and then TPA Double Chocolate Clear.
I found the rest to be meh, no, or uh-uh as tested.

I think that you've said that you tried DCC before and have ruled that out?
(I do have TPA Double Chocolate Dark but didn't test that one, not sure why I didn't include it.)

I'm going to try the Fudge Brownies in a couple of mixes moving forward and see where that goes.

I have some LB-501 scales. Can't go wrong there.

For mixing base I use measuring cylinders. 100ml for PG and VG, 20ml for the nic. I also have 10ml for flavorings when I get to mixing, and a 1ml syringe for the rare times when I need a very small amount of something. I love the measuring cylinders almost as much as I hate syringes. So easy to use and to clean. You can't get the same level of accuracy with cylinders that you can with scales or syringes, but it's accurate enough for me. Does it matter if you mix base with 123mls of VG instead of 124mls.

I guess glass beakers would do the same job as cylinders.

Lots of the stuff I got early on is in a tub in the attic now.

Mixed some new blackcurrant juice. Got rid of the meringue completely. A bit less blackcurrant and lots of cream and vanilla. Sure it will take some tweaking but I'm looking forward to it. The meringue experiment just didn't work for me.

I had to move a couple of rocks in my yard that were left there when the new sewer system went in. 20 years ago I would have picked them up and carried them or put them in the wheelbarrow. Now it's down on my hands and knees for half an hour rolling them to their new home. Stuff like that lets you know you really are getting old.

Good morning. I almost have my voopoo review finished but realized last night that they don’t want it posted until the 25th. That’s ok, I have two more to work on.
You're a busy one, with all the reviews put on you plate recently. Almost infectious. I can't imagine the sense of push. You are dedicated.

This one isn’t too tight of a schedule. Needs to be posted between the. 25th and the 5th. Problem isi have two other ones to write that I haven’t started on. Plus I know of at least two more on the way.

Hi random folks. I had a good day at work. There were a ton of packages that were on the route I usually work. It is normally delivered by two of us but today the supervisor had it split among 4 people instead of two, so it turned a long day into a shorter one.
