Morning, mixers.

Not much different here, the predicted rain has yet to arrive. Or maybe just decided to take a detour. So, might be able to mow one of these days.

Good morning, David. :) If you need to mow I hope the rain lays off long enough.

    Speaking of dancing bananas

Many moons ago I used to vape a pretty good banana. What are the secret ingredients to a really sweet and strong banana flavored vape? Is there anything off the shelf in the USA to recommend or is it just as easy to make?

I love sci-fi movies, But last night while I was in the kitchen replacing wicks I accidentally watched the worst sci-fi movie in the history of the world.

It's called Moonfall. The plot was maybe cool for 10 year old kids. The heroes from a NASA mission discovered the moon was hollow. Then they discovered an alien race living inside it, which they then discovered was actually our ancient ancestors. Then they discovered there was another alien race living there who were our ancient enemies, actually a rebellious AI created by our ancestors that had already destroyed every other biological lifeform in the universe except for us. Then the moon started to fall towards the earth. Near the end the moon was only feet above the earth so it was knocking down tall buildings and trees as it moved by at 20 miles an hour.

Then there was the "acting" by the 20 something boys and girls straight out of movie school who were leading our fight for survival. They arrived as couples, couples with problems, ex-couples, singles starting to like each other, etc. They saved not just the earth but the entire universe. Finally they all paired off and fell in love with each other, either in their original configurations or new ones, except for one guy who heroically died saving the girl he had bitterly broken up with but still really loved.

My IQ probably dropped 20 points from watching it.

Hello, Mixers, hoping all is well with you and yours

I don't have much to report on the mixing front, still poking around looking at posts, recipes, and thinking about flavors.
I did mix one tester yesterday for a high % custard/RY4 recipe idea and washed up some bottles this morning.

I hope everyone has an enjoyable weekend :)

shoud I lower flavors in diy ejuice recipe from 2017
I've read around that older recipes should be adjusted lower to account for today's better gear, but not sure if that is more for early twenty-teens recipes.

I know that some folks use the same gear now as they did 10 years ago, so if they were happy with flavor levels from that time then there is probably no reason to adjust.

Also, I guess it depends if you favor more subtlety flavored mixes or knock your socks off flavor.

So, I guess I'm of no real help here :(

    Could you post the recipe?

Good afternoon, Fran, thank you

I hope all of you are doing well!
Mom and I are doing alright. I've been getting a little busier with work as well as having a little bit more of this and that to tend to this time of year so that's been keeping me out of trouble.
    (more or less)

    Vanilla madness:
    Bavarian cream-2.25%
    French vanilla 3%
    Sweet cream .75%
    Vanilla ice cream-4%
    Vanilla cup cake 4.5%
    Vanilla custard 4%
    Vanilla swirl 1.5%
    Whipped cream-.75%
    total=20.75%
This recipe is from 2017, since I vape with low ohms .15-.3ohms, I'm wondering if I should cut and how much?

If it was me I'd cut it in half.

Thanks, I was thinking about cutting it 25 to 50 %.
I looked it up and was thinking about 2/3, so in the ballpark of what you're thinking.

If you find that you like the mix but the % reduction that you tried might not be quite right, you could make a one shot of the mix to dial it in with a bit less work.
(Just squirt in whatever new % you want to try into your base mix)
