You did on your walk. I'm sure it will help on your trip. Glad that dog didn't break skin in biting. We're currently at 79 and 87% humidity. It's supposed to rain later today so it probably won't get much hotter. I took my walk today in the park...2.25 miles. The humidity like to kill me, but towards the end a breeze came along to help me. I saw a woman in the park with a nice looking German Shepard. Just as I was commenting on how beautiful her dog was, the dog actually bit my hand. Fortunately, it wasn't hard and didn't break the skin. I avoided them the rest of the walk.
I go today for the evaluation of my VNS. I'm supposedly going to get paid for all the visits I had in the last 1+ years and haven't gotten paid for. That money will come in handy for my trip.
I'm considering switching to Linux precisely because support for Windows 10 is ending. My computer can't accommodate Windows 11, so either I buy a new one or replace the motherboard in the one I have or I transition over to Linux. My plan is to set up this computer to dual boot now, so I can get the hang of Linux while still having access to Windows. Then, next year, I'll either get rid of Windows or, if possible, keep it for certain programs but not allow it to connect to the internet. That's why I need to know whether I can deny Windows access to the internet while still being able to connect with Linux. I suspect that I can, but I was hoping for confirmation.Never used Linux. What would happen with that setup when Win10 goes away next year?
