I'm 77, wife is 76, Medical expenses:
Medicare $174.70 each, per month, taken from payments=$349.40
United Health Care supplement, $335.50 each per month, goes up every 3 months=$671
United health care prescription. $103 each per month=$206
Total $1226.40
This does not take into account out of pocket costs for prescriptions ex: Jardiance 3 month supply $461.
With insurance my out of pocket expense for drugs averages $200 a month.
My total output per month is about $1,426, yearly $17,112.
Don't get old!!!!

Uh, got a decent HMO there? Our supplemental had been $99 a month for years, and actually went down a dollar this year.

Good morning, David. We had that yo yo weather for awhile and it does suck. Now it's just too hot.

It's off to work this morning for me, too. It's gonna be a touch cooler with a high of 88. Just for one day, as the guess for tomorrow is 90.

92 today. In the 90's for a couple of weeks with a high of 98 next week. Only been out a couple of times today for dog walks. Luckily the dogs don't want to be outside for long. I do have to make a quick trip out for groceries. Ozone is high for the next 3 days but it's due to settle down by the weekend.

I've shaken up my bottles of base a few times, should be ready for the freezer this evening.

It's like this in June, not looking forward to Jul and Aug.
