I just caught part of a show on BBC News. It was the story of a British Doctor called Michael Mosely who is famous over there for his podcasts. He does all kinds of weird stuff to study the health effects. Including making black pudding with his own blood and worse.

When I walked into the kitchen he was all strapped up with medical devices and about to smoke a cig, for the first time in his life. Then he was going to hit a vape to compare the medical effects. He smoked the cig and had a major coughing fit. Unfortunately they switched right over to the next experiment and didn't show him vaping. I might get on the computer later and see if I can find the original podcast. I guess it wouldn't prove much, your first ever cig followed by your first vape but it sounded like a fun thing to see.

Ohhhhh. Happy Birthday to her.
It’s this coming Friday. I am just going to get the cake, a card, and some cash. Of course I’ll take her out to dinner too. I have been doing cash as a gift since she always says we don’t need more stuff and she can do whatever she likes with it.

Well, I hope she has a good day.

For the first time in days, I finally hear thunder.
I hope the nasty stuff misses you!
    (well, hope it misses everybody!)

I loaded an easier to read version of my recipes to that Drive folder if you have interest,

    Screenshot_20240623_164455_Drive.jpg
Some are split between pages but oh well.
It's not a hefty file (byte-wise) so should be easy to download, if desired.

It is in the "Hi Fran Look Here" folder.
    :)

Hope that's the worst you get!! Probably not a lot of tornado shelters in your neck of the woods....
We did get the warning and we were watching the sky. Only had 15 minutes before it expired. We lost power but not for long. The internet just came back.

I was getting ready to leave to go to Costco and the wife asked if I’d wait so she could go with me. I was surprised since she was having a bad pain day. Then she said she needed me to take some stuff to drop of for donations. She’s been complaining about the kitchen faucet being hard to adjust for a while now so I suggest we go by Menards. We picked a new faucet that I’ll probably go ahead and install today.

I hope the new faucet works better for her.
