I like the lemon cake and have used the LMN# recipe for a long time. If you really want to taste lemon then I’d definitely add some additional lemon.Made 10mls of 3% INW Lemon Cake, my first shot at a lemon recipe. Long time since I used Lemon Cake and I have a vague memory that it was strong cake with a little lemon. See how it comes out. I can add FE lemon if it needs that, or I have several cake and crust type flavors. I'm hoping the Lemon Cake won't take long to steep since it's a single flavor. Maybe a few days.
I originally got a tiny sample bottle of Lemon Cake and liked it so I ordered a 2oz bottle. Then for some reason I never even opened it. Got plenty to play with so I can try cake and cream and vanilla and whatever until I find something that does the job. Anyway, it's fun to be mixing again. I've got a KFL ready to go for testing.
Had a mildly annoying coil and wick experience tonight. I was watching the lander bailing out from the Space Station and not paying attention so I messed up the coil twice. Third attempt I focused a bit and got a coil together. Cut a piece of rayon. Normally I tear each piece in half to make two wicks but this time it didn't tear in a straight line. The rayon was cut at an angle. The next piece was cut at an angle too. I pulled the whole strip out of the bag and around a foot of rayon was cut at an angle. That occasionally happens but rayon is cheap.
